If only SAMY bought more XLE man. and left the previous GLD weightage alone. Already up 60%. Though nobody praised this as a genius move. Too bad only 6% weightage.

Many ifs and buts laugh.gif

And SA is active investing? They rely on "AI" or their so called ERAA right hahah. I don't think Freddy monitors the market daily.

ERAA is what exactly? A bunch of gibberish? Freddy still needs to his own analysis right?

So SA is active kah passive... Whatever it is its sohai

Yup everything can be sudden, all drops can be sudden.

The right strategy is DCA, regardless what happen if it is a good investment, which kweb certainly is. Just DCA over time

We have stashaway here buy high sell low.

But lickers still find excuse for Freddy.

I have said this all along, why is the the constant reopt?

I got reported for every post. They some donkey here say, if can predict already in wall street.
I just wanna laugh, we can't predict market therefore we DCA isn't it?
Now u see this licker he just finding ways to defend Freddy, rather than to be logical do dca, time in market more than time the market.
But anyway. I have said it many times. I still get reported.

i think everyone entitle to their own opinion.

but name calling isn't very classy, isn't it?

it shows the very classy side of you by doing that?

again, i agree that everyone can be a genius in a bull market, but it is really who can be the true winner is most probably be determined in a bear market.

hi unker, pls don't derail the topic too much, this thread is about SAMY and not football or any /k talk.

but to answer your question, it was also not a good time to be a pool supporter during the early PL days or even during stevie G era.

But the pool fans stayed invested and it's bearing fruits now.

Hope the same can be applied onto SAMY too.

Nice analogy. But not so sure Manc U and SA can make a turnaround for its existing fans.  laugh.gif

Just like Slippy G missing out (i guess we won't forget that moment), equivalent to KWEB missing out on the later success.

alright. this is the last post about footie, pls take your footie talk elsewhere, even more so if you are trying to banter or insult (if any).

Thank you.

I'm gonna ask a stupid question. How much do you think SA's KWEB selloff can affect its share price?

On another note, I'm guessing many had been waiting for an opportunity to exit.. the sharp rise was it 😂
*
except for honsiong i think, is holding KWEB outside of SA. Anyone else?

I am also planning to get some KWEB on my own, can anyone advise on a good technical entry?

since this KWEB is behaving more aggressively than crypto now? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

as long Xi Jin Ping is still the premiere I would avoid China. He is unpredictable and is revitalizing old China communist methods.

don't be surprise one day he will invade Taiwan. He already did it with India at their borders, and taking over islands in South China Sea without any fear, and even dare to threaten neighboring countries like Philippines to shut up and just accept them building bases all over the place.

China need someone like Deng Xiaoping to make it boom in this modern age.

The popup says "We'd like to reassure you of our track record of withstanding short-term market volatility" so I guess you are reassured as it is green color. Congrats.

This portfolio has always been green, invested since Aug 2019 or something. However, most of the gains were wiped off recently, but still stayed positive throughout this "down" period nonetheless.

I am ready for any downturn, please keep the "down" for an extended period of time, 10-12 months or so, so I could "collect" enough before the market move again.....

No lah, they laid off because nearly the entire VC-funded IT startups scene is doing the same thing.

Public equities rout, then IPOs stop; VC stop investing, capitals got hard to access, and companies have to start being profitable or die off.

The next few years will be when real businesses are created. The last few years, capitals were cheap and easily available.
*
still plenty of funds around chasing those real good startups, hoping that it will turn out to be a unicorn.
