1. iShares Core MSCI China ETF
Ticker: 9801:HK

2. iShares Hang Seng Tech ETF
Ticker: 9067:HK

China is opening up, I would say both ETFs above are worth the risks.

Very volatile counters.
Quite similar to KWEB

the fund managers/ robo advisors sure they want to say something goods about their portfolio to attract more investor come abroad. After all their rice bowl is from the management fees that impose on the investors funds.

more money in the funds = higher fees collected. So, we have to do proper due diligence on the funds prior to investing.

why place so much of our funds in cash equivalent?

they should have done so early/ mid of last year.

Putting substantial of funds in the cash equivalent assets may not be safer option when the dollar is weakened. Can see MWR for USD has improved but MYR in ringgit were headed to different direction.

Selective unit trust has set aside 1x% to 2x% into cash/ money market funds since mid of last year. SA only adopt defensive stance at end of last year.

My thoughts.

That was performance and benchmark for May 22 correct?

So if want to compare with FD, should compare with FD rate for May 21 (if take 12 month FD), not current FD rate.

something like for the Malaysia equity fund’s benchmark against KLCI. US equity funds will benchmark with S&P 500 etc.

Equity fund is more volatile than FD.

Just calculate the simple past dividend payout for past 3 months. The calculation is correct as per the current projected rate of 3.3%.

Only drawback is the rebate only pay out every 3 months..need to wait patiently for the rebate payout.

I cannot understand this SA thing. is it a unit trust or like p2p financing? only 4.1% return? the value of unit can go up down?
