they put in Easpring fund it seems. I'm a bit curious too. If I invest direct into Eastspring, the sales fees and management fees already 5% &1.5% (I think). Long time no invest in unit trust.

Hi, if want assurance to get the 4.x% return…just put in the FD if you quite sure you won’t touch the money for quite some times.

SA will inform the unit holder if they can’t meet the projected return in advance ….another word is that it is not guaranteed/ more like a low risk investment.

But so far SA simple able to meet the projected return

this is my blackrock aggressive portfolio returns for past 6 months
can consider it as alternative to SA existing portfolio
but I invested it in different timing so can’t compare against my conservative portfolio.

ps: if invest and put in money now may not have positive result as above. Depends on the timing of entry.

6th month back market started to recover slow and the gain you have now are mostly forex gain.

This is not so true for blackrock portfolio. MWR in USD is showing positive return of 12.5%. Certain stocks like Apple and Facebook already hit all times/ one year high….Nasdaq also almost hit 1 year high….only Dow Jones is still lagging behinds.

The stocks in S&P are doing well in past few months are those heavy weight stocks such as Apple, Meta, Googles, Tesla’s, Microsoft, Nvidia.
