What phone are you using right before this?

It takes time to optimize the battery. Give it a week, and do this again. Sure vast difference. Each time there's a new android phone first one week all will scream the same thing. A week later all quiet once the batt is optimized. Your phone is fine, trust me

P/S : My friend bought same phone in US. She bought sat morning, now sunday night and battery still 21%.

Sometimes too aggressive until some apps cannot operate correctly. Which result into some apps banned Huawei phone. One example is VLC....

Really ? Then should I use back 4g and change all my other settings ? But my battery literally cant last for more than 24 hours , I woke up at 730 with full battery and now is 55% and i mostly dont use phone during office hours.. only break time

Thank you very much , and for everyone who contributed or spend time discussing about this nonsense. Maybe I have high expectation on Samsung or I'm just a tough customer. Hopefully this shit will get better once Samsung has learnt my battery usage

which oppo and xiaomi model? flagship / mid range / low range?

most mid or low range phones actually have better battery life than flagships because they dont offer much in terms of software features and they usually come with bigger battery especially those China brands. not to mention their less complex and slower processor means lower power consumption as well

Because cheap phone user 1st time buy expensive phone.

They expect battery to last forever and everything is lightning fast.

Just use the phone for a week or two and leave it be. Charge it if and when you have to. It'll sort itself out.

My current battery usage (on 4G) similar to yours (also using S10) but I'm already 14 hours on battery (compared to yours 6 hours on battery indeed very short) but mine has been tweaked similar to the tips shared by ZeneticX. Also now the phone still in usage pattern learning period which may last up to 6-7 days, once it finished learning, it will help to improve and stablize the battery life

Yea dont worry much about it. Happened the same with my Note 9. Didn't panic, now i see its true capacity since its optimized.

Chill Tan Sri , I just dont expect it to be so lousy. Losing 10% on standby isn't in my standard for any phone and I never complained anything about the speed. Even my first android phone back in 2014 HTC m7 can last better than this


Anyway the previous oppo I used was the one offer by maxis, a77 I believe and xiaomi I got no idea but it's definitely the entry level but it's so good tbh. I'm dont judge phone base on price tags and honestly I think it's on par with premium brands in terms of processing speed and battery life just not camera
