Hi guys , I am never the type to go to internet and rant however this time I must to somehow find someone with good lubang or able to help me to recalibrate my battery

So in summary , I've pre ordered and received my phone on 6/3/2019 . On that day I've already noticed my phone drains battery quite fast like 1% in 5 minutes of usage. And using 4G.

I've done simple diagnosis with Samsung customer service via smart tutor and she can obviously see how 20 minutes of using smart tutor can already drain 5%. She then help me to reset setting and ask me to use safe mode and email her the feedback after few hours. And so I did and the feedback is equally terrible as heck. (I switch all unnecessary stuff off like nfc and edge lighting)

She then asked me to go to customer service centre which I did on the same day, they then do further diagnosis and agrees my battery drains faster than usual and accepted my phone

After 2 days they called me and told me my phone is ready for collection and there's nothing wrong with it after a simple factory reset. Upon collection I found out my battery drains very fast again but I didn't think much thinking it's because I am redownlosding all my apps and stuff

Well after days of using it ,I've had enough of this Samsung wasting my time nonsense . Can someone teach me how to recalibrate my battery.

I will start doing screenshot of my battery life cycle tomorrow morning. As for now I woke up at 7.30am and its just 10 .20 now my battery is already 80% ... 20% for just roughly 3 hours and most of the time it's just standby on 4G.

#6/3/2019

1. Collection of s10
2. Notice problem

#7/3/2019

1. Called Samsung and do diagnosis via smart tutor
2. Sent to Samsung service centre one utama and wasted my few hours for their shit service

#9/3/2019
1. Received no updates so I decided to call them to ask
2. Came and collect my phone just to find out nothing has been done and they really do enjoy wasting my time going one utama here and then just so my phone can sleep in their luxurious hotel.

Samsung Malaysia really need to keep their service centre in standards. Looking by their Google reviews I'm not the only unhappy customer

Try uninstall facebook app and observe the battery drain again. It is super battey drain at background.
Many users have been complaining this problem since long time ago.
I usually force close it to prevent it running in background after using.

using note 8 with one ui. the battery drain in malaysia is definitely faster than in oversea. i find malaysia telco got very lousy 4G connection. The phone have to use more juice to locate 4G signal. When in HK or Japan same 4G connection, but battery drain way slower/

is this your first time using android?

give time for the OS to optimize battery life base on your usage.

every android is like this, but after a week or so.. you'll notice a significant difference in your battery life

what I know Samsung phone battery drain quite as i'm a Samsung user before....

after change to Huawei, i no need to bring power bank when my Huawei phone is 50% when i go out shopping in afternoon and come back home at night. For Samsung, i not dare not to bring power bank if 50% left unless 80% above....

Put Facebook & Chrome to always sleep and disable the Background Activity in their apps setting especially Chrome is draining your battery in the background

Could be due to the much better and steady reception in Singapore since it is relatively small country with your cellular connection closer to each reception tower you connected to

Huawei UI is well known for aggressively killing background apps hence better battery standby

yes i spend 50% every month oversea, i know our 4G signal is weak in malaysia (at least at my area) so our phone use more juice to locate the signal.

my usually hangout area is Maxis line in ampang area.
