I would prefer Lamps to get more experience first. And also it's stupid to sack Sarri now. 3rd place and a Europa Cup final is good. Honestly, was Roman expecting us to win the CL or PL on Sarri's first season? :x Give Sarri 1 full transfer window (hopefully our appeal is successful) and 1 full pre season. I believe he can bring out the best in our players, and also get the players that he wants.

As for Lamps, let him get more experience first, then later down the road, maybe 5-6 years time, he return to Chelsea as manyzer.

It seems they've already made up their mind. I mean at various times yes I felt like tearing my hair out at sarri's subs and line ups but at the same time I accept it's a process, and implementing whatever new style of play will inevitably take time and patience.

I think there's now a strong sense of entitlement especially at board level, that whoever comes in must be competitive and win stuff immediately, with zero compromises because previous managers have done it with us before. Doesn't matter if they crashed and burned the following season. Doesn't matter if arguably the two best managers in world football right now in the form of klopp and pep took at least 3 seasons to compete for everything.

Roman and his advisers have lost the plot. I really hope lamps refuses but there are indications that we're determined to get him. Which ironically enough, is beginning to mirror the same determination when we tried to prise sarri away from napoli. Just roman's shiny new flavour of the month before he gets bored again. Nothing ever changes.
