With a portion of our first team injured (most of them really long term), I don't fancy our chances for the EL final. Hopefully, lady luck shines brightly on us.

Maybe is that woman who do the nego. U know lar, woman nego skill really keksum, small value difference also won’t budge until last minute no choice buy. They don’t think about others closing the best players elsewhere while we nego until too late. Hopefully Hazard fast fast done deal and move on to others players.

Why until now there is no news to bring our transfer ban case to court and get it done ASAP before transfer windows open? Wait until last minute again or until transfer window close?
Managed to suspend our transfer ban or not is urgently concluded and start planning what to do with players we have.

I believe our this coming transfer window will screw up big time and next season will vomit blood

to find a good striker that are proven goal scorer in europe is not that easy. it we found one, with the inlfation of the market now, the price would be too expensive.

I fancy seeing Robert Lewandowski playing for us. After Diego Costa left I felt we didnt score enough goal from striker position. With Hazard leaving, we will be missing our top scorer and yet to find any good replacement.

But this is not valid if the transfer ban were not lifted by FIFA.

you and i have the same thinking on lewandowski...atm manu are chasing him...
but i doubt the chelsea board will spend the money for him sadly...

i think in order to get chelsea back on winning track is to heavily invest on a consistent striker (regardless whether he played in epl before)

Devastated when RCL injured for stupid friendly then losing Jovic to real madrid really painful. So we will stick with Higuain Giruoud next season.

Truth hurts.

Watford getting absolutely murdered by city after de bruyne came on as a super sub. This is one of the things I'll never forgive jose for, unfortunately. He has a knack for alienating young and talented players, and KDB will forever be the one that got away.

I think sarri has done surprisingly well on that front. I know people are going to point at the lack of starts ruben / cho had at the beginning of the season, but it shouldn't come as a shock seeing how late we signed sarri and how little time he had to prepare the whole squad. Any sane manager would maintain the status quo in the same situation, although I was pretty annoyed with it as well, just like everyone else. Eventually he recognised and rewarded their talents which is the most important thing. He doesn't just pay them lip service either by simply throwing them on for useless 5 minute cameos, like practically all our managers after ranieri.

They learnt the system and sarri brought out the best in them in due time, with both players virtually dead on starters if they were fully fit. Would love to see tammy and maybe mount getting the same treatment, in the event that the ban is enforced.

I'm sure by now everyone has read all the rumours about lamps potentially taking over, and I'm just feeling pretty disillusioned about the whole situation. Hence I'm just gonna repost what I said on reddit:-

Just wait till the board hounds him out of the club for:

A. Not achieving targets AND winning trophies

B. Not playing an attractive brand of football

C. Not fielding enough youth players

D. Not shaking the hands and high-fiving all the groundsmen and janitors he runs into. (okay probably not, but you get my drift)

All within the space of less then a season.

Now you know why we don't have any DOF because the club think they know better. Lamps will get kicked to the curb. But when that happens I think roman would have awoken a different monster among the fans, and I expect full blown 10 x 10 banners asking him to get the hell out of the club. By the time we get there, you can't really say it's unjustified either and that's why it's going to be heartbreaking for many fans who've supported him all this while,including me.

Please dear lamps, when you get the call, say no. But promise you'll come back later when things are a little more 'settled' so to speak. If that doesn't happen, it's perfectly fine as well because you deserve so much better than getting pulled into this current unmitigated disaster.

agreed. Lampard hasn't enough experience. if say Sarri was sacked mid season and Lampard brought in as caretaker for experience, thats still acceptable but long term, not yet.
Sarri has done what was expected with what he have, despite somehow stumbling onto 3rd.

the management is the one that needs to be reinforced. everything is going through Marina and she is running the club in Roman's absence. we need someone to balance and run the football side, while she goes back at what she does best, selling players and writing up new contracts.

It's will showed the same situation with Manchester united right now, prove a good result temporary only, in the end,crash again

also seems like Chelsea havent submit an appeal with CAS for our transfer ban. I think the club could be thinking to just bite the bullet and sit through the transfer windows.
