QUOTE(MrBaba @ Jan 1 2024, 10:32 PM) So I have tricky situations with me . My dad got 92k die die want to pump into my EPF cos EPF side say over 70 cannot put money in dy hence the situation . Make sense to do it ? Financial don't make sense to me at all cos need another 20+ year before can touch it . AFAIK one can't deposit into epf after 75yo but balance still earning dividend till 100.Can ask your dad to keep the epf n put u as nominee. Since he is 75yo now, he can deposit into your epf. |

QUOTE(faizfizy39 @ Jul 20 2023, 10:31 AM) Anyone tried VC using debit card? Recently EPF introduce the payment terminal. Can share your experience? QUOTE(ronnie @ Jul 26 2023, 09:53 AM) where is such payment terminal located ? is it meant for Voluntary Contribution ? Don't simply create acronym which is not commonly used. Always put like this Voluntary Contribution(VC) to me VC = Venture Capitalist QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jul 26 2023, 10:02 AM) |

QUOTE(magika @ Jan 9 2024, 11:49 AM) Yes, on Pay & Transfer ...it should be pay.. For me when i used iAkaun app, if day1 deposit then day3 will be reflected but transaction dated on day2, irrespective of weekday or weekend, all the time.Just a note. A number of forumers claimed that contribution is reflected in their account using app or website in two days time however i beg to differ , the last 5 times my contribution takes around 3 days. Its why i previously asked whether using app will be faster. Sadly i already tested and it takes around 3 days also. Two days ago i contributed to 2 accounts and it still is not shown. |

QUOTE(CommodoreAmiga @ Jan 30 2024, 11:25 AM) Hmm...i've made another transaction to EPF just now using the app. It captures my transaction immediately in the app, but total amount is not reflected yet. Will this transaction make it for this month? The transaction date shows 30th January 2024. Similarly I just did mine at 7pm via new iAkaun app n trx captured immediately dated 30Jan but not reflected in total. Should be considered Jan2024 contribution. Might try few k tomorrow to test. |

QUOTE(leanman @ Feb 1 2024, 09:17 AM) Proven via apps, 2 working days before last day of the month is still ok. Just be conservative in future, do it on the 29 instead (31 days) 😅 I deposited using epf app fpx fr Ocbc SA at 8pm 30Jan and 4pm+ 31Jan, both recorded as same day transactions n counted in January 2024 contribution. nexona88 and CommodoreAmiga liked this post

All 4 deposits I did on 28, 29, 30 n 31st treated the same way. The previous app is T+1. If system down u shuai loh. This post has been edited by MGM: Feb 1 2024, 12:06 PM |

For me I switched all my fd to AS1M when it was launched in 2009 n boy what a difference, no need to painstakingly look for good rate n switching, on top of that the big difference in returns, I think it already gave a 100% returns, fd would probably takes another 7 years. Since 2017 I started switching from ASMx to EPF. Transferring of funds btw CASA, ASMx n EPF is so convenient nowadays unlike FD which is tied til maturity.

Let say if a 56yo housewife is unemployed for many years, did i-saraan deposit last month January2024, then in March2024 start epf contribution when employed for 6 months til Sept2024.
Still get the rm500 rebate in 2nd half of 2024? Or need to make another i-saraan deposit after Sept2024? Or request the employer to pay out the 11% as part of pay n not contributing epf? This post has been edited by MGM: Feb 6 2024, 09:03 AM |
