I don't think anyone else could have said it better... we have passed the point of no return.... the hope now is just slow decay within our lifetime and maybe our kids' lifetime. That would allow some or many of us to plan our exit path (for older people like us, death is a exit path).

nowadays, I don't even ask anyone to return to Malaysia to work anymore, not like 10 to 15 years ago. I just tell people Malaysia is a great place to retire and spend one's retirement money. Those who love traveling, use Malaysia as a base to rest and reenergize before the next travel: soak up the cheap food and affordable medical treatment/doc visits and medicine. 

Off topic, for those whose children all migrated, how u want your dead body handled, ashes to the sea/earth or burial in MY?

The statistics is not accurate at all. Do you know how many are actually paying tax and epf in Malaysia? Some without EPF have more than a million as FD or equity.

Which essentially become pseudo saving account that can withdraw at will?

Any contribution from work and self with new accounts 60, can only withdraw at 60, yes?

Can we do another 100k to this account 60 for this year?
