QUOTE(chrisderick88 @ Jul 7 2021, 11:52 PM) Thansk for your response bro, but what I wanted to ask is... I'm trading an ETF on LSE (VUSD) which my understanding "denominated in USD". My account is USD and all my funds are in USD. That said, TSG is charging GBP1.5 for the brokerage fees. Do they automatically charge to my USD account? or will I have to purposely convert USD2 to GBP1.5 to pay TSG? No, they charge USD. Are you sure you aren't purchasing VUSA by accident?

QUOTE(S_SienZ @ Jul 7 2021, 06:46 PM) My accounts with IBKR and Wise are both relatively new. Used Wise for initial and a few more rounds of deposits already. No problem yet. I think the conditions are satisfied - IBKR when you set a new deposit via Wise will give you your account ID to be input into Wise transfer reference. QUOTE(Lim Ling Yang @ Jul 7 2021, 06:55 PM) Could you show step by step how to transfer with wise? Super newbie here I have only been using stashaway before this. Keep in mind they will ask proof of transfer, proof of funds 6-7 months down the road. Kindly take note. This is p ice to pay by using TransferWise. No such issue if money come from sg banks.

seeing that ibkr has now waived the $10 min account activity fee, is IBKR the preferred choice for the average joe instead of TS Global now?
Thank you.

How does the base currency of an ETF matter? For example in the name it could have (USD) in it. But it trades in LSE in USD and BVME in Euro. So what's the purpose of declaring the base currency?
