Previously when I was using the stock c1200 router, my unifitv was running smoothly via homeplug. When this c1200 rosak I replaced it with Archer A6 and Unifitv is no longer smooth, at times need to reboot the STB. What should I look at for rectification? Ipv6 is disabled n Natboost is enabled.

Like I said, previously I was using c1200 n aztech hl117et homeplug av mini 500mbps n it ran smoothly. Now atter I changed my router to Archer A6 with everything else unchanged my unifitv stalls intermittently. Don't have another router to try since the c1200 is dead.
BTW unifitv is on LAN1 or LAN4 of the A6?

After I enabled IGMP Snooping the UnifiTV stops working, disabled it and it works again and so far it runs smoothly.

It was ok last night. The same sh*t is happening this morning. Will try to connect directly using long LAN cable than using homeplug.
BTW why enabling IGMP Snooping caused no connection?

Could it be this problem, where the IGMP Version should be set to V3, instead of the default V2?

Spec is the same but the WiFi performance of A9 is a lot better due to the better chipset used.

Spec don't always tell the whole story on WiFi. That's why we have some cheap AC2600 router that perform terribly.

That is correct, even Cat 6, not many cat 6 are fully functional at 10gbps, because things like termination, keystone, heads all need to be cat6 certified.

I don't know why so many people want to go to the latest Cat<number>, Maybe soon some marketing genius will market their cable as Cat8, knowing many people just just buy without proper research.
