bro, i read here many ppl managed to achieve full speed torrent. i am doing the exact same thing yet cannot get.
worse still is I can get normal downloads 109MB/s but torrent only 20MB/s.

Just a curiosity. Could my AC68U be the bottleneck?
*
Tested on RT-AC68U downloading Linux ISO, able to reach 70MB/s.

On Unifi 30mbps why is the download rate of a file at 1.80-1.90MB/s?
This is a Google Drive file able to be downloaded at full speed.

Shouldn't it be 3.00MB/s?
*
Max 30Mbps should be around 3.5MB/s

Oh I guess it must have been 10mbps Unifi? Seems more like it right?
*
10Mbps should be around 1.1~1.2MB/s
Downloading on Wi-Fi or cable?

Subscription : 30000
Means 30Mbps?

Btw anymore such useful links to get info?
Remembered there was some API that can check if people are eligible for certain upgrade too.
*
Should be 30Mbps... 800Mbps shows 800000 and there's also another Subscription: 800 at the lower section. WiFi usually inconsistent speed due to many factors. Unless using 802.11ac then can more reliably hit upto over 100Mbps.

Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing slow loading of images / video on Twitter? All other sites seem fine, but on Twitter I'm getting colored boxes and blank spaces when I scroll down, and it takes a good few seconds for the images of videos to load.
*
Me too for past few days. Noticed pbs.twimg.com very slow and has packet loss causing media to fail to load. Changing IP doesn't improve. Tested with DiGi mobile and everything loads instantly.

CODE
--- 192.229.237.96 ping statistics ---
20 packets transmitted, 16 packets received, 20.00% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 234.00/283.31/298.00/14.10 ms

Yes, I'm also noticed the same issue over IPv4. IP belongs to Edgecast CDN. Probably there's some routing problem between TM and Edgecast IPv4.

But I tested pbs.twimg.com over IPv6 has no problem, so it's better to have IPv6 enabled.
Yup IPv6 is faster for Edgecast CDN. Most of the time pbs.twimg.com leads to edgecastcdn.net but sometimes it leads to akamaiedge.net. Don't know if enabling IPv6 will still cause issues on other sites or not. Last time I disabled it due to some issues.

I also want to know whether unifi will throttle p2p speed after some time...

Old unifi user , pls share ur experience here.Thanks.
*
So far didn't notice any throttling on 800Mbps. I'm not downloading very much though.

Basic question, how to know whether the firmware of my router is the latest?
*
Login router config and click 'check for updates' and manually check manufacturer website too as auto update check can sometimes be faulty on some routers.

I see that you're using TP-Link C2300 from your previous post? Have a look at TP-Link site here.

Seems TM routing issues to Edgecast CDN now affects IPv6 as well. Causes sites like Twitter to fail to load images and videos when Edgecast CDN gets assigned. Sometimes it uses Akamai CDN and loads properly.

Seems it's fixed now. No more packet loss for both IPv6 and IPv4 and latency is no longer over 100ms. The latency using IPv6 is half of that of IPv4 though.

Since I am not satisfy with my lan cable....I mean the generic white color 15 meters lan cable.

I have read some info from the internet.

It is branded with " data cable cat5e UTP 24 awg 2pair "

I don't understand isn't sat5e cable mean more advance , yet still use 2 pairs of wire ?

Sricxm at lowyat plaza....don't sell poor quality ethernet lan cable to customer.... vmad.gif

u make customer suffer now .    vmad.gif

sometimes the download speed drop to 23M....

sometimes the upload speed  drop to 5.5M when doing tm speed test.
*
The ones with only 2 pairs can support up to 100Mbps only. I've seen many fake Cat 5e cables in computer shops. Although they have 4 pairs but the cable twist quality cannot handle 1Gbps.

How can i make the speed near to 300MBps?

(Landed. Wifi)
*
Only 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) with 2x2 MIMO (866Mbps link speed) can reach 300Mbps.

200Mbps should max already right?

Yup 200-300Mbps is what you can expect from a 2x2 ac WiFi connection icon_idea.gif
*
1x1 AC WiFi (433Mbps link speed) around 200-250Mbps
2x2 AC WiFi (866Mbps link speed) can reach 400-500Mbps

Yes 2.4 GHz band 433.3 Mbps data rate can achieve 200-250 Mbps, but 5 GHz band 866.7 Mbps data rate achieving 600-650 Mbps is not a problem. Tested and verified with Killer Wireless.
*
433.3Mbps is on 802.11ac (5GHz) too. There is no 433.3Mbps link speed for 2.4GHz (802.11n).

I dont quite get it.

I am now using D-Link DIR-842 given by TM,
U mean by connection 5Ghz wifi, i should able to get 300Mbps speed on my 300Mbps plan?
*
Yes, you should have no problem getting 300Mbps on 5GHz provided that your device also supports 2 stream MIMO. It should show connected at 866Mbps if so, then you should be able to obtain 300Mbps speed. If it only show connected at 433Mbps on 5GHz means your device only supports one stream. Then you can only get around 200+Mbps usually.

For my phone note 9,
i google found got support 2x2 MIMO
"802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2x2 MU-MIMO"

But my acer nitro 5 laptop how can i know does it support 2x2 MIMO?
since acer nitro 5 laptop got many model.
*
Check what model is the Wi-Fi adapter in the laptop or just check the connected link speed. Both can check inside Windows.

Later i try with same room.
Btw if connect cable, is this u green cat6 rj45 can get full speed 300Mbps?
Price ok?
Thanks
*
Cable I never used Ugreen brand so I can't comment. Dintek or Schneider Electric brand is ok. Actually any truly Cat5e or Cat6 certified cables can reach up to 940Mbps. As long as the cable has full 4pairs/8pins and is not a fake Cat5e/Cat6 then no problem.

It may look like a 16 port or even 18 port box from the outside but inside probably only has 8 ports that are connected with fibre and usable. Can never tell the available ports without looking inside.

See my reply to his post earlier above... Answer is you can't without looking inside the box.
