Yeah, that channel has plenty of similar videos in many places in Japan. Really can just sit down with my computer to enjoy Japan without the need to go there directly.

Hey everyone, I am going to Osaka in October. Still quite conflicted on which train to take from Kansai Airport (KIX) to Osaka.

There are 2 main choices now:
1) ICOCA/Haruka package costing = 4600yen round trip (inclusive of 2000yen ICOCA purchase)
2) Nankai Airport Express costing =  3840 yen = 1840 round trip (920 one way) + 2000yen ICOCA

Is there any reason to use ICOCA/Haruka package when Nankai Airport Express costs less? I am planning to use ICOCA to travel around Osaka (and USJ), Kyoto and Nara only.

Also, is RM 3,000 for expense enough in Osaka? Exclude accommodation and USJ ticket since they are already paid for before the trip.

If u stay in Namba, just take Nankai. Bring u straight to Namba

Haruka is nice if u wan to go Kyoto fast from KIX.

RM3k? my basic rule for japan travel is RM300 per day, so can last 10 days.

Yeah, just take the Nankai Airport Express. Just be careful to read the signs and not step onto the Nankai Limited Express - that will cost you a bomb. laugh.gif

As another forumer pointed out, RM300 per day per person can be your reference point for expenses.

Hi, just like to ask if I brought some figures during my travel in Japan, will I be charged with tax etc at airport when returning to Malaysia?
*
By law, they can charge you if the total value of the things you bought exceeded rm400. However, they're quite lenient and the customs are actually looking for those that're buying in bulk for the purpose of reselling them.

So in conclusion, they have the right to charge you tax if it exceeds rm400 in total. However, if you don't overdo it, they usually will not bother to go through the paperwork just for a few RMs...

For me 10,000 yen per day including breakfast, lunch, teatime, dinner plus transpotation.

Last day at Japan will become 50,000 to 100,000 yen per day for luxury meal.
