If the TV channels they get from the channel provider (such as via C band satellite) is in 1080i50, pay TVs will encode it as 1080i50 as it is.
However, if the channel is originally in 1080i60 (example SETi channel on Unifi TV, or CTI Asia, KBS World on Astro), pay TVs will force encode it as 1080i50, so you will see inconsistent motion on those channels.
In addition, to further complicate things and cause more framerate mismatch, there are movies and dramas filmed in 24FPS. This is probably why some movies on 201 and some dramas on 211 look even more jerky. Probably undergone double conversion, 24p -> 60i -> 50i, so messed up already.

Once I also noticed some of the channels were not in full HD.
No matter what settings I used, still cannot get full HD.
Then I noticed the STB was not connected in 1080p when it boot up.
It was booted up with 576i only.

Have to report to TM on the issue.
Don't know what they did, the STB booted up with 1080p.
Mine is not STB issue, the STB is outputting 1080i50 all the time for sure and only those several channels are in SD. Other HD channels are in good HD quality. So the problem is in TM's encoding of the channel. The channels have problem in the playTV app as well and you can notice that even the LPF logo is in wrong aspect ratio proving that TM is handling those HD channels as SD 4:3 channels instead of HD 16:9.
Long ago when I complained to TM, they asked me restart STB and check HDMI cable etc and want send people to come check but no one ever came so I gave up and posted here.
