The remote does not seems to have number buttons.
Like that how to switch channel? Need to wave the remote like a mouse?

3 generations of hyyptv STB
TM didnt give proper training to thier technicians on how to STB so the TM technicians spend almost 3 hours to setup my new STB.
The new STB  require Google Account to get the access to playstore to update the Unifi app.

At 1st the STB  didnt recognize my hypptv account and asked to subscribe to hypptv.

after few call to TM center they found that apparently  my account not migrated yet and they try to migrate my account but failed.

A few call later, they said that they need to change my setup box to the white color 1st and then only they can migrate my account

after change to the white box,  i need to wait for emial/sms for the hypptv anywhare new password.
for those that have install the new STB, how's your experience?

I rarely watch playtv but it seems the picture is just a bit better when watching on the old box.. could be wrong though. can ask those who watch it daily

Same happened to me. You need to uninstall the one in your ipad and install the latest app that have a new sign on the logo version 1.2.10. Open the new app and signin. I am still not successful after signing in because my account according to the app is not migrated yet.

i wanted to upgrade bcoz i was using the silver STB.  but now i got both, the white STB and the +STB. lol

i dont think all those "+ RM10" mine included are migrated yet.
from my whatsapp conversation with the TM technician that come to my house this morning, none of 4 customers they attended today are able watch hypptv on the +STB

P/s: one thing i dont like +STB is the HDR are always on. or can i turn it off? hurmmmmm

I tested the modded unifitv apk on tx3, don't know if placebo effect but I see better PQ compare to latest playtv apk. On playtv, it usually blur a bit for 5 sec or more then comes clear pic but using unifitv it is almost instantly you get the clear pic.

I believe those with silver box not migrated yet (my sis has silver box) and those with white stb, migrated already (for me at least).

I called it UnifiTv as its package name is com.tm.unifitw for the new 1.1.4 apk & the official playtv@unifi 1.2.10 apk package name is com.tm.playtv

It's two different apk ... 1.1.14 is playtv for android tv os & 1.2.10 is for non-tv android os. Different interface, 1.1.14 you need to use dpad on remote to navigate, 1.2.10 you need mouse to navigate (most of the time).

Anyone already manage to enable the developer option on new unifi plus box. the unifi plus box does not allow unknown sources to install app

Nothing. I don’t even aware about this ‘migration’ thingy.. I just got my @iptv login Id from unifi account app, went through forgot password proses at unifi tv mobile app, because I’m hate to call tm cs, and I login as usual

why I only try to login tv app now because only yesterday I have access to working android tv unifi app. Not because I received any email on migration or some sort

i've reset my password and still cannot login to the new app tv.....
i'm gonna tembak someone at TMPoint tomorrow.

I think I know what is migrated a/c or not.  Migrated a/c is when your white STB become the new interface.

I called by father and ask him what is his current white STB looks like, new one or old. He said the new one. I ask him for his iptv user ID and password and wallah, I managed to login already  Eventhough my father didn't subribe for the +STB.

I can sign in to com.tm.playtv since December. Before that I get the not migrated message as well. My white box has changed to new interface for quite some time now. The box is still using same old customized Android 4.x. There is no migrating to new ATV OS. The only change is launcher, UI and Netflix pre installed but not launchable.

So now with new STB we can sign in to 5 devices and the STB is also counted together with the other playTV devices? I haven't sign in on more devices after 15 Jan.

Update: Just tested by signing in to web. Still shows 2 devices. Is the new STB / Android TV app actually counted together with other playTV devices?
Update2: I can sign in new app (com.tm.playtv) and STB changed to new interface around early December. The new app was released on 19 November.

Well, it's seems they going to depreciate the vlan600 which is dedicated line for TV streaming.

Internet speed will be affected sooner in future.

I think the 5 devices to run on unifi playTV is applicable only for Unifi Home 300mbps - RM199/mth.

The rest still can use up to 2 devices only.

Not so sure about bitrate but on the New Black STB, I've tried changing the display resolution to 4k2k-50hz (3840x2160/50p) but it still blurry (Love Nature channel 502 which supposedly support 4k). I even change it to it's optimal resolution which is 4k2k-60hz (3840x2160/60p) but still blurry. Now I compare with Youtube 4k quality video and the difference is like night and day. Heck, I even change back to the White STB with 1080i-50hz (1920x1080/50i) and it still clearer compare to the 4k quality. It could be the upscaling but dunno. Maybe my configuration is wrong or my TV or maybe TM have yet to optimise the 4k setting but it is quite dissapointing. Hopefully more updates to fix this issue.
