Using Lenovo Y40, one day was playing games and suddenly blue screen, then afterward keep blue screen everytime boot into window, go in safe mode disable graphic card driver solve the issue, suspect is gpu overheat...

this unit got 2 issues, either build in cpu or gpu need to do reballing, no need to diagnose 1st to identify the faulty part.

I suggest for those who want to buy 2nd hand hand mining card need to check the GPU surface got yellowish color or not, if got dont buy becoz the card wont lasts long. got few units customer send to me and found out this problem, can boot and install driver, but after 3-4 hours in game, the card start to
show problem. and also monitor the temperature at idle.

Hello, My Asus R7 370 2GB randomly blank screen/no signal issue, need force shutdown or reset only got display. Now getting worse after install ATI latest or previous version driver, sometimes loading windows 7 logo will blank screen/no signal again, sometimes can log in windows and around 1-3 mins same issue again

This issue can be fix?

I am having a GTX 555 Nvidia reference card with artifacts issue, how much is the repair cost?

Can PM me your location for me to send the card as well?

Even in BIOS also will have display corruption/artifacts and need to power off/on many times to get it to load normally to desktop.

Need to replace the 8pin slot at gpu (RX580)
As the rubber from psu out connector melted into the gpu slot, causing blockage for any connector to enter.

Please advice.
I have got 5-6 gpu that needs the 8pin to be replaced.

I got a Zotac GTX1060 6gb Amp with rattly fans.

One of the fan blade is broken and the second one bearing shot already.

Do you sell replacement gpu fan. 4 pin 90mm dual fan if im not mistaken.

02. the GT 220 indicate that got some leaking on the GPU chip ball (BGA - Ball Grid Array) reball will solve the problem.

For GT220 problem ( GPU chip ball (BGA - Ball Grid Array)), this will happen when switch on the PC? After it able to run and show display, it will work for whole time until I shutdown?
Because today when I switch on, it able to run again.
So it will sometime can work sometime cannot work until doing the reball?
Make it heat will help?

these 2 day same thing, first boot will get 1 long beep 2short then quickly press reset button, second boot sure can pass and got display.

I send my X800XT PE for repairs because of artifacts, send it for reballing but it still occur so I send it back second time for diagnostics, it turns up my PSU is insufficient for it. They don't charge the second time diagnostics. Highly recommended, fast turnaround and friendly people smile.gif

Hi there, my palit gtx 1070 is dead like really not working at all i turn on the pc the card try to turn the fan but it just move abit then it stop moving d and no display at all and i also tried to leave it turn on and see after it will the card become hot or not, it still nothing happen not warmmer at all, can you try to check whats the problem and try to fix it i can send it to your place and maybe you check whats the problem and quotes me after you find out whats the problem with this card???

My Sapphire 7870XT one fan not working previously but still display things normally. Now no display come out and I have to use onboard graphics. One fan is still spinning but there wont be any display. Can you fix it? How much roughly?

I went to the service shop seeking help on fixing my two GTX 1080Ti cards (MSI & Gigabyte). One is a mining card, fan died within 2 months of usage and the other one overheats quite quickly, even at gaming loads which lead to my assumption that this was also a mining card as well. Not even 3 months of usage for this one. All hope was lost until I remember seeing this post and its services.

I am fully amazed on how blazing fast and skilled the people behind my card repairs. Even the repair itself is well-done and very professional. The dude is super friendly and knowledgeable. I would sincerely recommend to go here, and to anyone who needs their GPU a fixin'.

10/10 would do more deals with the service in the future!

This dude is the best! I have lost hope on my 7870xt. Until I found this thread. Really really recommend his service for those who are stil hangin on to their GPU and have a tight budget to buy a new one.

Hi its me again from mainboard repair thread..this is regarding my HD7770 Vapor-X which i previously say it got no display..yesterday i test it again on my other spare pc and it surprisingly works and with decent idle temp, but still only 1 fan spin..so perhaps the issue is just the fan..do you have those in stock and how much does it cost, or is it even worth to repair...thanks in advance

It already had artifacts issues when I ran it long enough so I tried to replace the thermal paste and thermal pads and poof, it kinda died

Now the card can boot up nicely and fans spin but after one or two minutes, it loses signal 😭

How much to repair?

I had a problem with my 1080ti ASUS Turbo, no display.

I took it to a local repair shop but they quoted me 400-1000RM depending on component problem. They even said they had to test with new replacement components to see the test result (which i know is wrong, they should be able to diagnose first before removing components).

I then contacted Armand666 arranged to post my card to him. Within the same day he received, he already diagnosed a short with my VRAM and contacted me about the repair cost 450RM before proceeding (my local shop quoted me 600RM+ if VRAM problem). I agreed immediately and on the same day, the card was already repaired. He also sent my video proof of the card running benchmark tests.

Very clear communication, also gave me some advice about how to take care of my card in the future. Excellent service A++++

Will recommend to anybody, even for people from overseas.

Hai can I bring my pc to your place? I having a problem that the pc is on but no display, and I have may accidently touch the gpu part when I was trying to put my ram stick, the gpu is attached to my nzxt g12, I don't have a tools to open one by one,....hoping fast reply

Boss i got a low profile 1050 ti card that stop working after not even 6 months of use. Friend gave it to me from oversea so i can't claim warranty. Fan all working but wont show up on monitor. Monitor keep showing check signal cable. Any idea whats wrong? Think you can repair it

Hi bro. I have a Titan Xp which no display. Three months ago my TV (attach to HDMI port) got stuck by lightning. The HDMI port and DP next to it gone. Card still works fine. Today tried to boot nothing happens. Card was dismantled from stock cooler and put on nzxt g12+kraken 52. Can repair?

I had a faulty Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB that I got from a scammer, turned out it was a mining unit.

I found this guy by chance to see if he can fix the broken GPU.
Apparently he can but it is not worth it to repair money-wise but he can repair it. His diagnosis was fast. I thought it would take around 30mins for a diagnosis, he did it in under 15 minutes or less(I don't remember how long it took but it is very fast).

His service is good. Highly recommend.
Will probably go to him again if my current GPU, an old R9 270 breaks.

Now occasionally it will go full mode even when browsing or startup pc and the fan speed go to 100% but then will also go back to idle mode but dono need wait how long..

PC boots with it in,but fans dont spin and no display/signal either. No heat output either during boot ( I touched the die while booting,I know its dumb but I just wanted to make sure its not a die problem first,which seems likely )

Hey man, I have a faulty R9 380x graphic card. Because of it can still on my PC but won't go until desktop screen. Previously even if it did it will turn green screen after starting a video or a game which I aware is not a good sign. Sent it to be fixed at a nearby PC store near my house I believe he said it was because the capacitor on the GC is loose or something so he helped fix it. I am looking for a more better solution to the problem. Looking to squeeze out a few more months before I upgrade my PC. From what I know Ryzen 4000 for PC is coming out in Oct. Can my GC be fix and how much will it cost? Thanks in advance

Right now the gpu can use or not? Green screen indicate GPU chip bga faulty or VRAM problem. need to diagnose to identify which problem to determine cost of repair.

Bump.

Took my 1080ti to change thermal paste and pads today and fix up a spoilt hdmi slot. Whole process took less than a day.

Incredible change in temperature, now hovering around 60c full load, comparable to a liquid cooler. Cheers for good service!

Awesome guy thumbup.gif , very friendly, and because my GPU sensor ICs were a simple/standard part (Powercolor RX 460) , he managed to fix it the same day. thumbup.gif

He was kind enough to show me a validation video that everything was working too! biggrin.gif

Hai, just want to say Thank You. For helping me & sharing knowledge bout GC troubleshooting. Well buying ex-mining card just too risky & wasting money. GC show no signal/display during start up. Msg seller but no reply (wasting time too). So cut short story, almost midnight browsing thru here saw this guy ARMAND666 & msg him. Well suprise me he reply within short while & guide me thru the diagnose. Let me know what are the damage parts & cost for repair. Unlucky for me it was too costly. RIP (to my $$)... have an unit Asus R7 240 2G DDR3 PCIe gc. without drivers, no issue using it. after installing drivers (tried the latest amd and also the older asus drivers), it will have display driver not working issue and sometimes go into BSOD. what could possibly be the problem?

Hello Bro,,

i had problem with my Saphire 570 4gb. It happens recently. Can you quote the price to repair, if its possible to repair.

1) sometimes the display will turn red.
2) the card can only be used for around 15-30 minutes. After that the display will shut off. I cannot even rstart the PC (with display) after that and have to wait for a few hours for it to cool down.

Hey, thanks for giving me advice on graphics card! Learnt that it is better to buy new graphics card from reputable brands and stay away from certain brands. Buying second hand graphics card is very risky if you can't test it on-site. Although the graphics card I had couldn't be fixed, it was great solid advice! Thanks again.

boss..i have sapphire r9 380.. last 4 month it face problem of no signal suddenly even in idle... and ok when several time boot and restart... on gaming it will go black for several seconds and came bank on display...just now when doing my writings... it died and monitor show no signal...

how long would it takes to repair, and estimate how much?

Hi, had a GTX 1060.
Posting this while using MOBO display adapter for now.

Symptoms:
A few weeks back, while ingame Apex Legends, game freezes and crashes (OS also hang so need hard reset).
A week back, same kind of freezes and crashes while ingame Apex Legends, but more frequent.
A day or 2 back, start to happen while just watching Youtube, until even just after loadup Windows.

This Graphic card is around 3years+ old.

Is this fixable?

hi, my R7 265 cannot use if the driver is installed.. pc wont even boot.. if i remove the display driver completely, pc can boot up normally.. can repair ah?

Hi Boss, GTX 1070, first version of EVGA with no padding, added myself, when EVGA delivered it to me. is it possible to fix it?

Side note: its possible to connect to hdmi port and showing, but when install driver for gtx1070, straight artifacting, then just black screen, but the sound is still on.

Hello Bro, recently bought a used ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Dual-Fan OC Edition which gone dead all of sudden. Used the card for about 2 days since bought then suddenly gone kaput. It happened during starting up the PC normally, managed to go into Windows 10 then few minutes while just trying to launch apps (browser that time) the PC shut off like lost power/power failure.

Tried to start the PC again, won't turned on at all but noticed the CPU cooler fan and GPU fans tried to spin but unable to start like got power issues. Suspected sudden power failure due to maybe Cooler Master 600w PSU was dying?

Replaced the Asus Nvidia GTX 1060 with my old Zotac GTX 650Ti, the computer managed to start, booting normally and go into Windows operating system.

Is there any chance to repair the card? BTW, there were no burning smell or what so ever.

Mosfet Short. If you buy 2nd hand better ask for refund. when the mosfet on the power section of the graphic card begin to fault, the problem will appear randomly until the graphic card died. sometimes that one of the reason people selling graphic card and dont give warranty. if seller selling a gpu without any warranty, then it must be something wrong, at least 7 days warranty should be good.

Understood it is not mean for gaming but will use for gaming occasionally

Issue
If try to run the game right after opening the PC, the game will crash and back to the window, will have to wait around 5-10mins after opening the PC to run the game. After the few mins waiting, can run the game well with good fps. Seem like it need kind of "warm up". No green screen or artifact is seen when crashing. Even though this issue is manageable but still feel a little bit annoyed

What is causing the issue and can it be fixed?

If try to run the game right after opening the PC, the game will crash and back to the window, will have to wait around 5-10mins after opening the PC to run the game. After the few mins waiting, can run the game well with good fps. Seem like it need kind of "warm up". No green screen or artifact is seen when crashing. Even though this issue is manageable but still feel a little bit annoyed

What is causing the issue and can it be fixed?

when check with the event viever, the error appeared is "nvlddmkm" with event id:13 , reball will need around how much to fix ya?

just solved this issue,this is due to backgroung process of other software which cause the GPU driver cannot work very well.

Greetings Bro ... got a GTX 760, while playing game, suddenly shut down, and when reboot back to Windows, have to reinstall drivers as card is using basic drivers ... sometimes got artifacts after reboot. Once I reinstall the drivers ... it boots up to Windows fine, but can't launch any games.

Only able to launch after PC is shut for a couple of hours, but issue repeats itself once temps goes up to 90. Overheating issue, or more to it? Fans are spinning, but perhaps not fast enough.

Able to repair and how long would it take? Also, do you sell 2nd hard cards?

760 temp should not exceed 90. Meaning the gpu ball already leak, reball the gpu chip might solve the problem

the reason i cancel is he quite slow to solve the problem.. not like you, i just mentioned the symptom and you directly know what problem cause it and how to solve it..

Hello! My GTX 970 STRIX 4GB is somewhat alive but I would personally call its dead
I got this GPU running for quite a while without having any problems but after installing it on a new case with the same PSU
after getting into windows(most of the time) or after downloading drivers for it(sometimes) it will always crash the PC even if the pc fans and everything
is still alive even thought the gpu crashes everything in the pc still works perfectly fine and each time I try to boot into windows it crashes
can fix? and if so how much?

Hello. Boss my, problem is vertical lines and fading around edges (Asus GL703GE laptop).

If i dont gaming, the vertical lines does not appear instantly (or slowly will appear after 20min or so).

To add, if my screen is off for 10min, the lines disappear then will slowly appear.

May i know if i send repair, usually cost how much? Thank you.

I suspect the problem is from
- short at pcie
- need reflow

Got my R9 280X repaired & repasted few weeks ago and the service is very good and fast. The problem was artifacts showing after loading in windows and would crash not long after.

hi, i have a rx580 with artifacts, colors displaying weirdly, a lot of dancing square blocks when something moves, and texts displaying like gibberish. any idea if it is fixable?

I have a 2070 which was given to me via RMA from Zotac just about 2 months ago and died. It was a replacement for my dead GTX1080.

My Zotac 2070 out of the blue, just artifact one evening while gaming (I play the same game every night so a sudden artifact was very alarming)
Then it artifact in the BIOS, and into windows. After a few device crashes in windows, it will become Microsoft Basic Adapter. Not always, but will sometimes be Nvidia 2070.

Then a reboot to windows , it will function until I load a game.

So when its functioning, on 2d clocks (3 monitor ) there are no problems (1410mhz/7000mhz).

Then if I turn on a game, it will artifact and crash windows, sometimes self recoverable and sometimes a PC restart is needed.
After some testing, any game whether light or heavy, will crash it regardless of the speed
1410, 1600mhz, 1800mhz
It crashes at any temperature between 55c to 68c, Above 68c it will confirm crash from my testing.

My PSU is a 1200w Corsair HX. Swapped to EVGA 550W Gold G3, same results.
Ive swapped AMD Ryzen to Intel i7 , same results
Ive swapped to another mobo/RAM and all same results
Reduced to 1 monitor, same results
Changed DP/HDMI cable, same results

I have a dispute going on with Zotac to see if they can RMA but i doubt it.

Are you able to hav a look at it?

Sorry for late reply, bz with repair, green aritacts usually vram prob, zotac brand are famous wirh this prob. VRAM are expensive right now due to shortage and need to order from taiwan or korea.

Armand fixed my GPU within a day. Used Lalamove to ship to him and got it back through Lalamove as well (cheras-shah Alam).

Smooth transaction and the GPU is now alive again after bios chip replacement. Highly recommended. Just a bummer he is far away. Lalamove isn't cheap however no choice nowadays due to MCO.

To those who seek help from him for fixing, just WhatsApp him directly. He rarely checks here due to massive repair orders.

I have bricked my brand new EVGA 3080 XC3 after updating the Vbios for resizeable bar. It froze during the udpate and I had no other choice other then force shutdown the PC.

Do you provide bios flashing service?

Nvidia bios are complicated bro, if have warranty better claim, if not the normal way that i do are remove the chip, put on programmer and resolder back the chip

whats gpu you send to me? so far i only change the VRAM for the same model, and if not working you can send back becoz i provide warranty, other model cannot function, show me some prove that i take your vram to other GPU. these is no point to desoldering used VRAM and put to other GPU, becoz the VRAM wont lasts long and will not do that, i rather buy new VRAM becoz it comes with 1 month supplier warranty. within 1 month if got problem i will replace the VRAM or i give full refund

I sent my gpu to a so called gpu repairer at Shah Alam, took forever to repair it, never update, then when I call, keep on saying still testing but in actual fact did nothing, after 1 and a half month or so suddenly tell me ok edi, tell me to go take back, but never test and show me, once I reach home, the gpu still not working, send back again, only to be told vram spoiled. Ask for refund as they give warranty, only wanna refund half. WTF. I don’t wanna say more, you guys think carefully before send over your gpu. That was my bad experience with one of the gpu repairer. Sorry for my bad English.

This is exactly the same case as mine, but mine even longer, it took him 4 month. I send on April, and after that he said Raya not working, I am perfectly fine so I gave another 1months, then MCO happened, I was thinking its fine also because its not what he could control, so I gave another 2months.
Now total 3 months, then once again he told me part ordering coming from other country and again I gave him 1 more months, now total 4 months waiting.
He told me at first need re-balling then say Vram issues.

At the end I cant take the delay anymore and I give my final request, its either fix or I take back.
Then only he told me repair is done and repair fees is RM900++. Without hesitate I agreed because I thought finally the long wait, its being fixed.

As soon as I get back, tried my GPU, then only I realized it still not working. Message him, no reply.

Message to everyone, If the above sound familiar, you should start getting back your GPU. Seem like I am not the only person experience this.

you can call me if im not reply the message becoz my prohe broke down, did you pay RM 900? no, if im not mistaken i ask you to take back and test the gpu, if not function you can send back. yes the part take long to order due to shortage of parts, but not all parts, others customer also i told that and most of it can hold until parts arrive, and i get the job done.

I even give you the reasonable of doubt, thinking might be its the other hardware, thus I send 2 different computer shop to diagnose each hardware. Both also conclude GPU issues. Computer is fine once GPU swapped.

I am your customer that waited more than 4 months patiently and at the end get back the GPU that still not yet fix. And why at the first place you told me its done?
Imagine if that happen to you, how would you feel?

So moving on, now that I get your attention, are you gonna fix it properly this time and how long again I have to wait?
As I said, I am ready to pay you RM900 that you quoted if its done properly.

I got sapphire hd7850. One day i was browsing thet web then suddenly hang (BSOD) then unable to boot into windows since then.

Tried reformatting it worked, managed to boot into windows but still crashed after installing driver.

Any idea what is the issue and approximately how long and how much to fix?

Reball gpu chip, 2-3 days to fix, only remove the gpu chip, change the solder ball & solder back to pcb board using bga machine. Cost 1xx

Finally my GTX780 is up and running perfectly again. I am a returning customer and as always ts get the job done on this unit too. Sent 2 units for repair to ts this time and both GTX 780 and GTX760 are running great again. I already know ts back on 2 years ago and he repaired this same unit back then. I even traveled from Kedah to his place to collect back my GPU back then after he repaired it. He did show me the tools and all the things that he used to repair mine and the others, pretty friendly guy I can say.

I read back some of the pages in this thread and I see some of the people here have similar symptom as my GTX780 which is, if using it for working or web browsing, no issue at all. But as soon as I ran some game, the whole PC will crash and restart automatically again. Then I decided to send it to ts for repair again and now it is working normally again. So, I highly recommend those who have issue with their GPU, get ts to repair them for you. He even provide a warranty in case something not working again after you tried it at home. One more thing, please directly whatsapp ts at his number to discuss the issue better with him. All the best to ts and if there are any issue with other GPU, I'll surely sent it to him for repair! smile.gif

I have a gtx 960 strix. It have overheating problem. Wash the fans and heatsink. Change new thermal paste and put custom fan curve.. But it keep crashing after 15 minutes in game.. I suspect its a vram overheating but not sure. What do u think is the problem? How much to repair it?

Today finally able to collect back the card.

But sadly in short, the card still not working.

Armand explain that, there might be problem with the GPU cores itself, might need another GPU core replacement.
Will take about another 2 weeks time to check if he has the replacement.

Shall update again...
