i recently reinstalled clean astrogo on my boxes using this current apk:

results:

himedia Q10pro (android 7.0) - OK.

tanix tx3 max (android 7.1.2) - OK.

tanix tx3 s905x3 (android 9.0) - OK.

tanix tx5 max (android 8.1.0) - NOT ok (used to work until recently).

there is surely something astro has done as new check, blocking some boxes.

i have no explanation why some tx3mini/max and tx3 don't work anymore.

the only thing i can suspect is some builds/firmware could not pass the new check..?

If I remember correctly your Tx3 max originally is a Tx3 mini with the Android 7 2017 build.
Others reporting the same android 7 Tx3 mini 2017 build is having issues with Aotg.

Presumably the last few weeks, Astro has been manually filtering out the devices they suspect as Android boxes, Tx3 mini, Tx3 X3 Android 9, Tx6 Android 9 etc being the common and normally recommended boxes. Thus uncommon boxes like your Tx3 max most likely missed out during the human-error-prone filtering.

If my assumption above is correct, than Tx5 max (which has stopped production since a year ago) would also get through. However that is not the case.

Seems to be more than meets the eye. A few ways to resolve it, but ultimately it looks increasing like it is back to the old days of Version 8.2.4 where a modded apk of Aotg is required to run on Android boxes.

yes, it was orig a tx3mini.

as long at least 1 (one) of my 4 boxes work, it's alright!

Im having same problem with AstroGo app, its keeps signout. I thought my AstroGo app issue, so i remove and install again but no luck then i downgrade my Tx3 firmware from 9.0 to 7.0 but still no luck.. After read this forum now only i notice that its Astro server filtering most of the android box.
Waste of my effort and time..

Yours is Tx3 S905X3 or Tx3 mini?

I will need to update the first post to highlight this AstroGo login issues.

Presently, news is that Tx3 X3 that originally comes with Android 9 is incompatible whereas Tx3 mini Android 8 and 7 seems to okay for certain firmware. Even X96 boxes got working again after changing firmware. Hopefully later, the modders will be able to identify which parameters within the build.prop and firmware that the server is cross checking.

My recommendation to potential buyers is to consult with sellers if AsterukGo is a priority.

More conflicting news trickling in. Read that the NEW Tanix boxes (including Tx6 an Tx3 X3) has no problems login to AstroGo.

Some sellers posted that they too are confused why some can login some cannot. I wouldn't want to divulge much, other than discussions were centered on Astro recent efforts to hamper all illegal accounts and TV boxes.

At the moment it would be best to consult and ask directly and specifically to TV box sellers about AstroGo compatibility. Get an affirmative confirmation or at the very least the seller is knows what is happening.

Again, if AstroGo is a priority, please do the above. Don't blindly buy a Tanix box or from sellers who has no idea of latest developments.

the only explanation is somewhere along the line, there was a slightly diff firmware used that caused the problem.

my older tx3 is still working fine, had always worked fine.

My tx3 mini , running android 8.1.0 build 20191116 suddenly cannot login to astro go today even keyed in correct login id and password, it keeps on going Back to the login page. Yesterday was ok. Any solution here?

i am tx3 mini too but can log in and log out aotg very successfull.
many people on this group confiuse when i talk bout it. i mean tx3 mini 2gb RAM and 16gb ROM. not tx3 new version 4gb RAM 64gb ROM.

Mine is TX6, bought from shoppe, Seller "tvbox2u" before i bought he told AstroGo can work without any issue.. But bought i tested doesn't work.. I contact him n check he told me that, AstroGo server down.. which doesnt make sense coz in mobile no issue.. Then only i found out via this forum astro start blocking the android box.

The box running on Android 9.0, i downgrade to 7.0 also still the same issue.. Basically i suspect they block using android box build number.

Tried to reinstall it, still failed to work although both of us use exactly the same device and same android version and same build Version ...this is weird

Are you using unifi? You connect your device wired or wireless?

If u already login to AstroGo few weeks ago then no issue, your safe until ur nt signout. The problem occur for those who wanne signIN recently or accidentally signout then signIN again.. Me and my brother using same box TX6 but he can login and i cant login coz last 2weeks bfr i accidentally cleardata.. after i try login thats all K.O... cant login anymore. It keep looping back to login screen aft enter uname n pword.

i face the same scenario like you, i accidentally logout and now can't login back anymore :-( even i use the same device like the above reader which he is still OK to view.
