That's why I regretted not to book earlier haizz...I booked from those drivers agents, that's why it's expensive. Lotsa agents there but drivers very seldom..I should hv flag few drivers calling out for me after I booked wth the agents doh.gif

I just came back from Yogya yesterday for 4d/3n, it was good, my friends are just love the hotel accommodation http://www.rumahmertua.com/en-beranda.html, very nice place.

This is a very relax, quite hotel, it is not right in the town city, but it is takes about 15min or more to go the town.

we have had hired a APV car and driver for 4 days transportation, the driver name is Hermento, nice guy, we actually used his service more up 12h a day, but he didnt request additional service charges from us.

He recommended us where to go for local food or local asia food or local chinese food, you can really try how/what local people are really eat, how "spicy/hot" their prefer.

~ prambanan temple
~ Sewu Temple
~ Borobudur temple
~ Volcano Merapi
~ Dieng Plateau
~ sulphur spring
~ Colour Lake
~ local shopping
~ Massage

In average, each of us have only spent in total of the tours, all entrance fee, hotel, food, gift etc etc, are about rm500 - rm700.

i didn't take their package but the room, the hotel environment is nice, the staff very very friendly, my friends are very happy stayed at the hotel, please take note that this hotel is not right in the city center, therefore, finish all before return to the hotel.

it is up to individual, i arrange my own transportation, it is more flexible and economical.

i'm now in jogja. Went for a borobudur (excellent) and dieng day tour. Dieng i think you need one whole day to cover. In the morning i reached there 1 and half hour only from borobudur but dieng was a bit rushed. Also, it was too foggy by the time i reached there, couldnt really see anything. Telaga warna also a let down because so many kids loitering around the area playing loud music. The guide (so mahal, sohai and refused to nego his price) wasnt bothered to take us all around, kept telling us that one day is not enough to bring us around dieng. its true, but dieng was dissapointing for me.

If you are at borobudur, look for a guide named Hari. He cannot speak english well, just indonesian and japanese, but he is very funny, informative and knows how to take a damn good picture! If you're going to dieng skip telaga warna (can only see the colour if you hike up the hill) and go for telaga menjer instead.

BTW, Wonosobo is the nearest city to Dieng..also pretty high up & thus weather abit cooling too.. Wonosobo = Hutan Mainan in Java.

Tourist restaurant mah haha..Super clean but expecting premium pricing to others..yet will not cost a bomb similar to KL Food court pricing lor..although wth proper restaurant..

Those warung kopitiam style like the Nasi gudek, & Lotek restaurant..Yeah it's famous & nice to locals..but you need to take risk of having food poisoning...abit dirty lor..lucky I did tried but assured by my drivers those slightly dirty warungs are reasonably clean...nothing happen haha
