Go see cardock YouTube channel from where he started and where is he currently. I believe he is a grab ambassador / grab driver ? Now earning in USD with his growing subscribers and views. Very good effort from him for trying and doing what he loves even though he doesn't have the handsome face , good english language skills , video editing or etc.

Couple of months back in this thread someone mentioned that a grab driver quit driving for grab and open his own business and is doing very well now ? It was a malay guy I think. Can't recall much.

Try ask yourself what you love doing ? Go learn a new skill or take up courses. Use what you learned and apply it to something. If you already good at something then offer your services or try those freelance jobs. Sooner or later people will start to recognize you and that's where you start to up your game.

You gotta start somewhere if you want something and also think about long term. Some take a gamble , some take a different approach on things while some just follow the flow and see if it leads to somewhere or nowhere.

Grab ? Yes it's a good start but long term ? A big NO. It is just something to hang on for a while. If you want long term better just be a taxi driver. Their earnings alone is way better then crap, no ?

We can only advice or say and speak about different things but end of the day, you make your own decisions in life.

Driving during puasa is a challenge. expect crazy fare during 6.30pm to 8pm. This is because all our muslim brothers break their fast and supply is very very low.

Driving new car for Grab is always gonna be pain...
Taxi wants ehail to be dead... jumps all hoops until all ehail driver give up. Then riders have no choice to return to them(taxis). Taxis wanna kill Grab who succeed killing uber... another monopoly wants their competitor bungkusss...

My advice is just go uninstall the grab driver app, and go find something that will generate income, let it take it's course, I used to think driver grab is the answer, but hell no, feels good after gantung kunci for 6months d......

Just finish my psv class, boring as hell. The instructor just read everything in the book to you, waste of time.

I ask some driver who take exam this morning, the 60 questions is all about the book given in course. Some about money management, a lots of customer service and akta + law questions. Driver told me 1 hour for the exam is too short for 60 questions.

Jpj said only 11 driver in jb pass the test. Next week going to test 🤣

It is hard to believe that taxi drivers, who claim they are too old to learn using smartphone, have higher passing rate for PSV exam than Grab drivers

The last time I drove was on 7th April and I've stayed off the wheel for Grab ever since, and Grab has asked me twice why have I not been driving for such a long time.

3 weeks is a long time? LOL!

during return they will assess the car condition iinm. any damages need to pay. i saw in fb group got pl receive quotation of replacement parts. some 700, some 1.2k.

forking 1.5k monthly for car rent isn't viable imo.

If I were to reply I would said I am not driving because of TBB which sometimes kandang kandang lembu punya bullshit. Yesterday all trip with no boost at BB & KLCC. Today Osama bin Obama. Got a trip which has Rm1.90 bull tahi which probably takes 1/2 hour to pick up at BB entrance to Beriaya Times SQ where it takes 20 minutes to complete at 630pm. Total fare Rm12.00 for 6 seaters. Of course, I buang sampah aje. I knock 3 times  then terus offline.  

And why 6 kerusi kenot downgrade to Grab Plus. If Turun Pangkat can only do Just Crab where I have to do KETAM SHARE. After all, the price of 6 seaters sagas like Aruz to Exora are higher than Nissan Allmerah sold by his grandfather   

There are other issues as well but i think buang masa as I dun think Ah Beng is interested .......

Pickup 8 pax where they ordered 6 seaters. They said other drivers no problem with the pickup. 

iSayman, I pick them up too but gave them a lecture that they should order 2 cars as their two toddlers are 5 feet tall. it is unfair if the drivers get saman, Worse if there is any untoward accidents, insurance maybe voided. Anyway, got sufficient stars to spare at 4.99 but for the benefit of other fellow drivers, got to tell them about law and order enforcement. Most of all, try to timbang rasa with drivers trying to cari makan with RM12 Lembu fares from Fahrenheit red hot lobby at peak hours.   

3 hours later, got the same request with the same family !! When they saw me, I just asked them WHY? I had picked them up once but not this time. 

want to ask, for craplus airport, 3 medium size luggage, 2 medium size bag pack, 4 person, can fit it meh ?

counting my days until 1st July...then finally gantung kunci. Yesterday got 1 trip to klia then otw back another trip to putra height. Feeling not as good as before. i think my decision is correct. Just earn as much as i could then crab will become my memory.

oh yea, yesterday rider was a minister. I explained to him that the regulation imposed to drivers. He said this 1st july is not final. They will review again and hopefully will not burden drivers. He also said 1st july thing is not a fix or permanent regulation. There will be reviews.... He also pass me his name card. yes is government name card and later i can call him if needed, thats what he said to me yesterday.

I would like to thank all you guys who have been helping me in this thread for over a year.

I've made a decision that I won't be a Grab driver anymore. It was one hell of a ride, the good the bad and everything in between. I surely have learned a lot from my experience and from yours too, and it's something that I won't trade for anything else, except for a million ringgits or two 😂

I would like to wish all the best to everyone's future endeavour, as long it's good and honest. May God help us, amin.

Saw some muslim bro grabbers ady came out from mcd drive thru and started work like 7:40pm..really tekun man. 5pm -7pm jam like hell, 7:10pm - 8pm clear like midnight. There are plenties of ikan bilis + small tbb jobs in between the buka puasa period.
