why are you counting toll as expense? you pay rm100 a month for your phone??

Hi may I know are you a part-timer or full-time driver?

For tax purposes on business which use private property, all the expenses will only take accounts 70%. E.g. If monthly payment for car is 1000, can only deduct rm700 as expenses.

I know Krol aka Bro Khai since 2009, because we used to be in the same insurance agency group before he parted his own way in 2014 due to not being promoted as a unit manager and if one thing I can talk confidently talk about him is that he is very particular when it comes to tax. It rubbed on him off our manager.

I knew his struggles, I saw it with my very own eyes and it makes me happy that he has finally found his own peace 😊

Yesterday peak hours I didn't set MD, but still waited half an hour for my first job

Guys, later when we have to register and apply PSV, puspakom inspection, commercial insurance and all, our operating costs is gonna shoot up so much..most likely have to declare income and pay income tax also. They levelling playing field with taxi drivers, but I feel GRAB fares are too low...Taxis don't pay income tax, and charge RM1.95 per km,,whereas GRAB's fee is about RM1 per km..it is so unfair. I feel GRAB's market share is so strong, they should increase their fares by 50% also, people will still use,,no difference...not fair to us drivers.

whoa....update....you saw the construction at that road? they finally put concrete bricks divider and extend it WAY past the turning....I think up till the petronas station,.... LOL

This morning got RM21 for 6km job and RM 26 for 9 km job. Both complete below 18 minutes. Grab squeezing rider instead of giving TBB

Hi guys, i've been inactive more than 6 months and cant login to my driver app. I've submitted all the neccessary documents but Grab is sending me few different mails. Do i need to go to their office or just wait?

Weird happening yesterday evening.

i picked up a rider at Suria KLCC Ampang entrance at ard 6;30pm, DOP at Majestic Hotel. when i accepted the AA order the chargeable fare was at RM21 + 26 (TBB). It took me almost 1 hour to reach at the drop off point, terribly jam. On the way back, i checked my earning statement and found out there was no TBB at all for the trip to Majestic Hotel!!!!!

Quickly i called to cs and they want me to write story about the incident via Help Center... some more asked me did i snap the picture, i said where the hell i got time to take picture... if i knew the system can be like sure i will go and snap it...

yesterday drove from 10am till 6pm. Total gross only RM47. I think time to hang key liao. Mostly time waiting in aircon, waiting ping wasting petrol....

Need help from experience Driver

If PU at condo. Ping at outside or guard house , then only rider send message ask to pu at lobby or at their block. What should we do. These kind of request seems like riders want to con us on the fair.

Sometimes the distance quite far and the delay caused by the security guards. Sometimes took us more than 5 mins

guys, how are u guys doing with grab now?
I guess, these past couple months ever since they defaults JustGRAB instead of grabcar, im really having a hard time reaching my kpi.

I can still reach it, but takes 3, 4 hours longer. its interupting with the time i set aside for myself. gym/study/prayer/recreation etc...

at first i targeted rm200 clean profit everyday, 1 day off weekly.  no life.
then after i stabilized, i reduced my target to rm170 or so and started allocating time to self.
after that, as I put in more time to myself, I enrolled in kelas mengaji at local surau, going to gym, have better lifestyle, spend more time with family, I kept it at rm150 clean profit everyday.

these days, i need to work extra time to get that rm150. need to put in few more extra hours.
on bad days, i can get demotivated too. not even rm100 clean I alreeady went home.

this week i havent worked much as im too busy packing up my stuffs to move places.
I dunno how will grab work affects me once i move to new places. im quite scared tbh...
