Hmm if not mistaken my friend said his gf got visit bank after she found out the "scam" which the payment is done, then the bank's staff ask her to fill in one form and help fax it to AIA
If AIA say didn't receive the fax form guess customer side can say didn't receive the policy as well haha

Just walk in to AIA customer service center.

With MYKAD can check any policy under that owner. Then she can decide what to do.
AIA CS quite helpful. I walk in with friends before.

You don't have to go through the bank as the policy is now issued through the insurance company, so it's best for your friend to walk in to AIA branches instead to deal with them.

They also tried to call AIA CS to request cancellation and refund, let's see before cny able to get back money or not.
Walk in will be the last option as it will not be soft one.

I'll suggest walk in. Easy settle.
Check the nearest branch will do.

Normally you can't cancel over the phone, have to walk into the branch to sign off the paperwork.

Weird eh.. how come policy can generated with phone call and without signature but cannot do cancellation and refund use back phone call? If so this country is sick leh

hope you can tell your friend's GF to act (in the correct route) soonest....for her plan "may" have conditions like that too.

Like I mentioned in earlier thread, they already made call to AIA CA and request for refund+cancellation earlier.
Assume that they never receive any policy (I assume no way to track it since no signature confirmation and malaysia's slow deliveryas always), thus there should be always full % in refund

But still this telemarketing stuff surely affect AIA reputation, it's just like my friend tell me about his case and said never ever buy from AIA → I help him spread again the news → others help spread it etc..

plus get back amount that invested over 20 years, RM 200 per month x 12 months x 20 years = RM48,000

means RM 48,000 + RM28,800 = RM76,800 ?

Then if never take out yearly cash payment, can reinvest and compound interest can get up to RM52,500.83 after 30 years ? lol

not sure which is true which is depending on "performance"
