Just got off from a phone interview and assessment is next Thursday. Applied for Global  Banking & Markets Executive, is it true that the working hours may be at night during weekends? Anyone got any idea about the job description for this position?

I'm so grateful that I have been offered as Global Support Executive with HSBC Electronic Data Processing (M) Sdn Bhd.

I will be going to collect my offer letter next week.

P.s. They actually took 1 month plus to reply my job application status. But for I can say, have faith in the universe and be very clear with what you want and the universe will delivery to you every time. If you believe that you can then you can.

erm guys, i went for interview at bursa global exec on 9th Dec, and i assume i pass all the u know, english test, screening etcetc, and meet the manager on final stage. so, how can i know whether im accepted or not, the last word from the manager who interview me was, hope to see u soon. only that... so...      normally how long it takes?

i got call today from HQ Hsbc,my assessment will be on this Friday.
actually this is my second assessment, my first assessment failed.
i really hope i pass this assesmnt. for those who take this assesmnt not 2 be worry just do some exercise in grammar and listening.

i tahan working hdpm only for 3 months, then i cabut and new job seems way easier regarding the environment 
hdpm quite strict with the tcs. come in late boss will know, go hisap rokok lama sikit boss will know  ..even go toilet pun ada countdown

just now i received a call from hsbc, saying that im kind of hired something and they will go for background check and will send offer letter etc. actually how long it gonna take before i get that email. too excited to work for the first time.. 

@CxD above just proves it could take more than 1 month to process your application.   
but really dont slot your last clutch of hope here, there are many companies around and i bet the pay is better too.

I just got an offer for Associate for Global Banking & Markets under Equities for the UK division. How is this any different from the GSE positions you all are talking about?

I'm a freshie and they offered 2.6k.

so meaning that, between the time from they callled for confirmation and the time they email to collect the offer letter may takes up to a month or? im just wondering the duration of the calling for confirmation and the time they email to collect those offer letter.

WHAT?! They told me its from 3-10?

There still are GSE positions, this is BO. Is there a difference?

does anybody know where do i go to dispute my salary? cause i think they pay me my full basic without minus for epf/kwsp etc, and no allowances. do i bring it up to hr or my line manager?

I attended the HSBC interview for the position of securities services on 27 Nov 14 at Menara Bursa. I have passed all the stages until the last stage which i believe with the manager/team leader (after finished with HR)

I guess didn't get the job since i've not heard from them till now. But I still saw them posting the same job ads on Jobstreet for the Global Support and for the Securities service position. Definitely will re-apply in the future.

Anyone know how long is the duration for you to re-apply the same post after you have attended the previous interview?

Btw amal, have HSBC call you yet for the result from your interview??? Still waiting is it?

Hai Guys, i have a few question abut this job, really appreciated if you guys can help to clarify on this questions i have

i got the Job as Global Banking and Market exec at menara bursa. Start Date is 29 Jan, collect offer letter at cyberjaya on the 28 Jan

1) when will i know what division i will be attached to? (Working Hours)

2) What is the basic salary? (on the phone that day he said will be roughhly around 2.6k)

3) are there any allowances given?

4) is there any bus service provided, for example if i get uk time so the working hours will be 4pm till 1am, so is there any bus service from menara bursa to shah alam. cause i was thinking to go by train and comeback by bus, cause i read through this forum , they said bus is only provided after 11PM? is it true

Finally after over a month I've been waiting, the HR called me yesterday and mentioned about the job offer. But she mentioned they only be able to confirmed the offer after they done background check.

Did you guys been through the same process(get a call to inform they will do the background check?). If does, how long it take after the background check till the confirmation?

wahh that means after the induction training then only i will know my working hours.. why so noob one..   

so on the 29 and 30 will be the training, that will be normal hours right?

and another thing on the 12 and 13 feb need to take leave, cause its a family wedding and need to attend as i will be the best man, can i get leave?? during interview i have told them, they said that can be arranged.... seriously very worried about this.. hahaha

I think it depends though because the hiring managers told me i would be in equities straight away.

but "do you need to take leave during the first 6 months"

Really have to tell the line manager during the first day, cause thee booking all has been made further more i will be the best man thats why need to attend, if not i wont go oso, speech all i made d.. haiyaaa, really hope can get leave

Haha im not sure myself that cant take leave during first six months. But maybe depends on dept manager? Cause me and my friends new hire all can apply leave and we got leave to clear (compulsory) every 3mnths.

Btw wanna ask, if quit this job within 3-6mnths, is it advisable to put this job in resume?or would you guys advice to stay in this job for more than half a year before quit only can put in resume? I feel like no future in hdpm haha

So sorry this happened to you. So will you accept the job? Did you question why this happens? Maybe that is for process under HK/SG/TW/MY where there will be extra language allowance for rm300.
