Why would HSBC runs background check on CTOS & CCRIS? It's understandable that if you're a criminal or a bankrupt that you can't get a job.

But I don't get why if you don't pay your phone bill or miss loan installment, you can't work at HSBC?

And it's just an entry-level job that pays really low. Isn't the HR department of HSBC is over exaggerating things?

So in other word, they don't want someone who is in need of fast cash or desperate for money due to financial issues to join them in order to prevent their company information sold. Well someone with clean background can always apply and sell their company information away secretly though.

How HSBC can acquire such credit score by bank negara? I thought in banking business, credit score is can only be acquired by money institution for giving out loans.

Just got a call from hsbc and i passed the phone interview .nxt week is face to face interview
is there anything i should know and prepared? Im easily nervous

Also they ask bout spm result during phone interview
Does it really matter? Bit worrying for me bcause my spm is quite bad..my uni result are average but i really want the job..also the job they offer is different from what i applied..hurmm

i got the job from what hr told me. i pass the 3 stage of interview. the english test was quite hard tbh
and the hr lady ask me to email scanned ic n cert n spm result bcause my photostat wasn't clear..emailed her but no reply to confirm she receive or not which is abit worrying coz she said email her the day after which i did.
and they say need wait 1/2 weeks for offer letter

usually how long? its been a week now
also how is the training? which dept is the best?

if i call hsbc will it go straight to hr?

is there a chances i would not get the job besides fail background check which i think i will not fail bcause im fresh grad, nver had criminal case and never subscribe to anything under my name.
but the hr said i got the job and i already filled all those forms after pass all interview

btw is it just me or hsbc cyber is really hot at the entrance nearby the computer english test

my advise as ex employee,

if you have no other choice, then go for it. they gave the lowest salary however you will learn a lot (note that you are willing to learn, if not will be same like others)

im lazy to do jobhunting and i cant find a job related to my field of study bcause most company wanted experience and i didnt get the job from some company and hsbc is the biggest company that accepted me out of all company i applied
the salary wasnt the best for degree fresh grad, but i think i can live with it for few months

Not all are 2.6k. Some departments, they only offer 2.2k as the basic.
Agree that will really learn from there but in terms of pay, really low.

2 of my friends they are fresh grad degree and they got 2.2k as the basic. Hehe. So it depends on department.

band 1 would be under stuart gulliver..either COO, CFO, managing director, or etc etc. Means ur salary would be at least 100k++ per mth. u sure?

Hi guys..

I went for the interview on 12 march (thu @ the hss klc & passed all the 3 stages on the same day. The hiring Manager told me that he'll pass my resume to his AM & I've to wait maybe for 2-3weeks after that.

Is that possible I'm getting hired at this point? It's been 2 weeks now but im not receiving any emails &call from hsbc yet.
The hiring mngr even gave me his phone no. Since i cant decide on what shift to work at that time.

I want to call him directly to ask bout my status for the job but then, i think it's quite inappropriate & he might feel annoying if im doing such thing.

Im desperately need a job now. Its been months i "tanam anggur" n still waiting n waiting...im getting bored rite now.

I think im expecting too much from hsbc.haha.but im already tired to find a job (not giveup, just tired) & keep receiving calls for mgmt trainee (ofcourse i prefer on permanent post) from other companies.

Huhu...im not pretty sure if i able to land a job after training. Certain companies put a condition that they're not guarantee any placement for the trainees even u're perform very well. It happened to me diz b4. I had to rotate 6 depts within 6 months.

So thats y i prefer a job like gse. Doesnt matter if i've to work in shift hrs 😏

you got the number in you, why not use it? some called HR but received very robotic reply.
