Hi,
I know there are alot of guys here with alot of technical knowledge. I am a girl, and sooooo not tech savvy, so I had trouble deciphering some of the many 41 pages of this thread. I have the following questions, which I hope a kind and patient gentleman/men can help me answer

I went to check this phone out and played around with it for about 45 minutes. It did what I basically needed it to do, and I am quite comfortable using the internet functions (which is primarily my reason for looking at ths phone in the first place)
Questions:-1) I was offered RM1688. Is this a good price to be getting this at? the package comes with 2GB SD card + the usuals.
2) I will use it basically for phone, sms, email. Will the processor speed be sufficient? (I am thinking yes, but just to be sure) I don't really download alot of songs, tho I may have some. I don't play games or use multiple applications at once. I may use some office functions but I am guessing I will only be using most things one at a time.
3) Is there any news of the HTC launching a newer model in the near future? (I don't want to buy this and kick myself in the butt when they do if it's gonna be very very soon)
4) Any other input in concise and not technical format so I can understand will be very much appreciated. Comments like whether it is an overall user friendly phone, value for money, any noticeable kinks/problems after using it for a while, battery life, hangs often or not, durability as in easy to maintain or be scratched etc..
I have small hands and thus small fingers. I like the way it looks and how it fits my palm. I have no problems using my fingers as well as the stylus.
Thanks guys..really appreciate your time, comments and input. I have already gone to see it twice. First when I was shown it, second when I used it to send email and check internet just to try it out, and if I go again, it will definitely be to buy it and I want to go today if possible!! You know lah girls..when feel like buying want to buy straight away

So if you guys can advise me before I buy and if this is a mistake, pls let me know soon!!
Thank you all kindly

1) I am sure this is not the HTC Touch II coz its too cheap to be true ... what more it comes with a 2GB SD card... and I bought mine during CNY for RM1999 for 2GB + 1 Bluetooth headset ...
2) If you think the phone is slow, there is always overclocking or flashing new roms =)
3) New phone = Pay More xD
4) The phone is fantastic if you like using the stylus to sms or to write or to email ... Battery life is about 2 and half days (depending on usage and settings of the phone) My HTC Touch II havent hang b4 even with the use of custom rom (Shadow V2 WM6.1)
My hand very big, palm also very fat but still can use ... so i am sure small hands should be great =)
sending and checking email is quite fast but again ... writing an email (the long long type) do take a lot of patience...
1 thing i love about the HTC is coz its running windows mobile which is good coz got tons of freeware or even shareware which you can use, if you like the program then u can consider buying them...
I am thinking of selling off my HTC Touch II (White) ... if you want ... drop me a PM ... I bought it from Digital Gadget at Low Yat during CNY and comes wit a 2GB card and bluetooth headset ...
Why am I selling it ??? Coz i am sick of writing sms ... lolx ... thinking of upgrading to cruise ...
