QUOTE(andyfriends @ Jan 30 2019, 03:24 PM) oh i didnt zoom in do note it depends on the lightingi notice urs is kinda yellowish too is it caused by light or what? have u compared the quality taken by other model side by side? i am not happy with the camera although it is said to be better try turn off SmartHDR and see if any changes Apple's SmartHDR is one of the very few phones that does HDR on the fly and it adjusts itself based on what the algorithm thinks is the best colour (which obviously isnt lol) |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 30 2019, 11:03 PM) Yeah, price adjustments will probably be for the next model, very unlike Apple to decrease prices mid-cycle. Increase price got la QUOTE(Benefon @ Jan 30 2019, 11:07 PM) Actually I kinda miss the 2x lens and the portrait shots of non-human subjects on the Xs Max. Don't get me wrong, the Xr camera is plenty capable, but it's good to have the versatility of dual lens QUOTE(marfccy @ Jan 31 2019, 12:55 AM) do note it depends on the lighting Yes, agreed. Ambient lighting does play a part.try turn off SmartHDR and see if any changes Apple's SmartHDR is one of the very few phones that does HDR on the fly and it adjusts itself based on what the algorithm thinks is the best colour (which obviously isnt lol) |

Anyways, you can try a reset to see if it’s a software thingy or worse case scenario bring your phone to a service centre to diagnose it if you’re still concerned as it is under warranty.according to the staff cz the store fone has been kept there for the longest time so the colour would be diff as it has "adapted" to the lighting is that true? |

Maybe your screen tint need some adjustment? Also isn't the main lens on the XR and XS/XS Max same camera only differ that the higher end having telephoto lens and different processing s/wares. Also since phone still new, the lcd hasn't settled down (burn in) yet...

You are both right, its nothng to do with the screen. May I suggest taking a full frame picture of a white wall. The result would then show whether there is any yellowish on any part of the picture. |

I got an issue where face id already unlock the phone, but it won’t go to homescreen when swipe up, it stayed at lock screen no matter how many times I swipe, restart the phone then back to normal.
Anyone facing this problem? I encountered this after updated to 12.1.3, it happened twice already in 2 days. |

SmartHDR mostly shines in bright environments |
