Dont be so optmistic, their open ticket and promise to investigate, escalate and highlight 2 relevant department dont mean a thing. There's no in between progress. If they want give u turbo, just a few computer clicks away. Binary system, either they give u turbo inatantly, or no progress at all. No turbo upgrade=no progress. Even if u receive sms saying they will"look into it and investigate", it still dont mean a thing, u r still slapped with uncertainties, no1 gave u word of assurance. U see it when u see it.

Dont be brainwash and hypnotized by their polite pandering.

The same MCMC who used to side with TM instead of customers during the previous regime. Now, suddenly new Minister installed, they are asked to go against TM.

U try file a complain to other telco and see how MCMC and the complained telco respond. Ull feel something. Mr cannavaro has said something about TM and MCMC being bffs, try look at his posts. Trust me, both MCMC and TM rotten 2 the core.

Not surprising, honestly.

Beware, It's their trick to trap customers for another 2 years. Even the name of this deal is called "retention year end". They want to write good annual report to convince the stockholders that they have a lot of handcuffed customers, and are less likely will be terminating soon within 2 hears time since penalty tee RM500 incurs. Trust me, they are eager to do that.

By the way, this rm10 thing is also the one of the root cause of non-uniform pricing scheme that u see frequently here on his thread. For exact same set of value [internet, tv and call plan each], there exists various pricing.

In my opinion, it's better not to take if your commitment period ended long ago, I sugggest u put up with TM in the meantime, unless u r a new sign up which u still have at least 20 months remainder left of compulsary jail term, then it's worth it for u. I prefer price reduction while retaining my current set of value, instead of adding value, im not a heavy user anyway, even 50M is more than enuf for me. Those extra bandwidth i only "want" it, i dont "need" them anyway...

Edit: one more thing, im also entitled to it, but totally have no idea how what's the selection criteria for th eRM10 upgrade. Not users get it, some are not eligible, when confronted about how TM handpick eligible subscribers, they always chose to keep things shady

Dont be fooled by figures sometimes, a wr941hp does a better job than it. Im sure some ppl here can attest to that.

In my case, i can only get 70Mbps at most[1 inch from router], 60M consistently via 2.4Ghz wireless radio.

Well, try this instead. One of the possible reasons wifi not detectable. What country u choose for wifi channel? 13 or 14 your device cant detect.

I suspect most probably router is da culprit

Then it's sad news then if wifi indicator not lit up. Ever since converting to fiber network, my router seems invicible to lighning. Never had to worry bout router prone to being fried during heavy lightning.

your optical network unit model? Try connect LAN 1 of your ONT to your PC, open the window as per the url of the image below, check if the speed in the status is 1Gbps. If yes, definitely not router problem, vice versa

They wont come 2 your house at all, unless u request 4 it. U wont get new device for free, they either ask u pay 1 time setup fee rm53+rm2xx for the router or agree 2 be locked 4 another 2 years.

Let's put it this way, TM refunded the RM30 charge for ruby for as long as he's been having Ruby pack and ultimate simultaneously until ruby is removed. The rm300 is refunded 1 shot. His future bill will be 159 for as long as he nvr chose to downgrade ultimate.

Since u opened up a precedent where refund can be made, others who had double tv packs simultaneously shud be refunded for as long as theyre having 2 tv packs and charged for it., else where tf is the consistency of MCMC? Kangaroo court

The 10 months was referring to the past, backdated and retrospective, that means he got refunded for the extra he forked out in the past.

His bill is indeed rm159 perpetual

Well, this is a nationwide issue. Soyacincau editor has covered this extensively, unifi turbo good intention flawed by execution, etc.

First thing to ask yourself, what DL n UL speed suits best, factoring in economics too, like how much u r willing to fork out. U want it or u need it? Which 1 u pit more weight onto? Speed increase or price reduction@slower speed? Be your own judge. U may be a heavy user, but unwilling to fork out so much money to get faster internet, rather opt for price reduction and whatnot, no 1 can really give u advise on this. Also, what if u r filthy rich who opines that, i dont care if i use it or not, whenever i want it, it has to be there. Give u a context, sultan of brunei car collection, does he really need and use all of his cars everyday? [His car collection is more than 5000]. It wud take years to drive all of'em 1 car per day. However, from the looks of it, TM is adamant on not offering cheap unlimited slower internet @ below rm100 [unifi basic w/ quota doesnt count] and also eager to lock people for another 2 years, most wud accept as the highest number of ISP choices most people can have are 2. choices are limited to TM and maxis only. For me, im an outlier rebellion, haha, i wont let them lock me. Thus, sad thing is they r not offering deals/packages with relatively slower speed but faster internet.

Me myself is also a victim of this, i used to pay 149 for 10M, i threatened not to pay bill if overcharge me for 10M@rm149 when 100M can be had for rm129. Got upgraded in less than 1 week since complaining must get turbo at once. Guess what? Originally, they schedule me on 2019 Jan. I pay rm149, get 100M only as per their original plan, as opposed to u pay rm139 get 300M. But as pointed out earlier, my situation aint the worse, those 100M paying 2xx and 3xx people and also biz people are even more serious. Biz people used to pay rm199 for mere 10Mbps in one of their deals.

P.s., not saying that there r others got mistreated more worse than you, there4 the fact that u also got mistreated can be neglected, those who got mistreated more badly doesnt make your case less severe. Just my 2 cent opinion, thanks.
