but I cannot even get more than 300 mbps download speed on my router TPlink C1200 & modem huawei h8240w. (connected LAN Gigabit port)

Any solution? Change router?

My new laptop Asus x505b, CPU AMD A9-9425, did ask my laptop supplier he said it's gigabits lan Port. But I try speed test cat 6 cable, the speed around 220 Mbps only, any solution?

Hi just now do as per instructed on my desktop first,
Intel i3-4150, using newly purchased wireless adapter ASUS USB AC68 with 4 bar signal (full signal 5 bar),
I got only 220 M download & 160 M upload only. Is this normal?
Btw, later I will report back for the laptop & LAN speedtest.

Thanks for guide, I did search in this post, guidance by shawty about set 80mhz and n/ac only mixed setting. Did not have much improvement, from 220 download 160 upload increase to 250 download 180 upload only.

login with the correct password but still showing incorrect password. any solution?
Btw, today TM technician did come and check, he show me full speed test on his laptop in safe mode.
So maybe really due to my laptop problem.

and to ask everyone expert here, plan to upgrade my router to C3150 from my c1200, is it a good move? asus router out of my budget
I only can get 5ghz wifi max 300 mbps (after all the 80mhz settings and with asus usc ac68 wifi adapter) & 800mbps in LAN (safe mode). but seldom use LAN, because im staying double storey.

Provided that you have more than one TV pack in your plan.
Mine is auto removed, I have Ultimate+Ruby plus.
So system auto removed the Ruby plus which cost RM 30.

Tm router lousy.. better buy ur own router outside.

I'm using Asus USB AC68 dual band adapter.
Yesterday I open my PC in sudden I cannot detect any 5GHZ wifi (previously can)
Had Live Chat with ASUS, they have no solution too.
They I was about to sending the adapter back to China for warranty (bought from Taobao during 11.11)
I just simply click to change setting of router, change to wifi channel from auto to highest specific 161. then the 5ghz wifi can detect already. But i dont understand what happen? when i set back to auto, only 2.4ghz can detect.. pening. will be any problem i set my channel only at 161?

only found this under driver advanced setting.
its driver installation is direct install, dont have further setting software.
But weird thing is 1st install and used it about 1 weeks, no issue.
it came out sudden that I cannot detect 5ghz wifi yesterday.

and I believe yes. I login router setting set back the channel to auto.
it auto channel connect to channel 149. 5G wifi also able to detect.
previously auto channel on 36 cannot detect. Think need channel above 100 only can detect it.

I'm paying RM 149 800 mbps.
