Got the reply from one of the Perodua service centre. YUASA RM411.4 but I get the feeling they pushing for the normal battery.. As first time I asked(twice 2 different person), they suggested battery cost around RM200.. Then I stated again for IDLE STOP START.. they only changed to more expensive one.. But they didn't said the model or spec.. If i where purchase outside, what is the model I should be looking at?

PS: Further reading.. if put in the normal battery cannot use the ECO mode.. really can save RM200 fuel when using ECO? hmm

Air filter (engine side) from SA, is basic one? It costs around rm50+, where outside/online we can get less than rm30. Performance or reusable one cost around rm160.

Any recommendation?

to achieve RM200 worth of fuel saving, i think the idle stop hours must be in hundreds to justify that. and also need to be a lengthy idle stop, because an idle stop of 5 second is basically not saving anything.

RM50+ is for 1.0, RM120+ for 1.3.

Better to do some research whether other systems will be affected (eg, alternator) if using normal battery on Advance model.

Hi, I am currently deciding whether to get a basic car for daily use in a small town like morning drive to market, sending kids to school, etc.. Forsee don't do much long distance travelling. Shall I consider Bezza 1.0L? I look at the owner lists, all are getting 1.3L variant.

true, idle stop system is pretty new in malaysia so not much people knows the drawback if non start stop battery is being used in place of start stop battery.

yaya, and bezza 1.3 filter is the most pricey filter in perodua line up, the new myvi that uses the same engine and the air filter is just 62.90 excludes labour, indeed myvi air filter casing is different from bezza's

The original filter is yellow/orange with Daihatsu logo and Denso brand. Made in Indonesia.

1.0 in safety the difference only rear headrest
If compare to advance it has ESC etc but for city drive most likely no need

1.0 will be cheaper to run and maintance
Road tax insurance interest and purchase price all will go down a significant percentage

For gxtra now 1.0 has same interior pattern as 1.3 , last time were all black in plastic

1.0 has more steering vibration and more engine noise but still ok , all Axia on road has the same engine.

I totally agree to buy 1.0 as you can save 7k if not mistaken compare to 1.3

You don't have keyless and push-start but I think not a issue at all.

1.0 worth the price , 1.3 overpriced in my opinion

And I not very satisfied with the product given that I paid 45k.
Proton Iriz/Persona will be a better product for that price but should be not as reliable as perodua .

Just my opinion driving 1.3premium .

I believe the Yellow Indo made stock filter is the more expensive one. The P2 Proganti white colour should be the cheaper one.
