Greetings All,

Booked a silver Bezza Gxtra 1.0 last week.
I have included the Gear Up hood & door insulation in the order.
I plan to do the following once I receive the car:

1. Ultra Racing Stage 1. (UR Hq quoted RM721 & Jooi Seng Klang quoted RM580. Both inclusive of installation)
2. Armrest (any recomendations of good ones?)
3. Boot tray (cheapest possible for bezza size)
4. Wrap steering (any recommendations of freelancers that can come at my location to do it? Bukit Jelutong area). Or maybe just a steering cover from shopee (any recommendations?)
5. Thickest coilmat possible (found 22mm at coilmat.com)
6. Smartphone holder (any recommendations? want most durable)
7. Smart tag dashboard holder (found some at shopee)
8. Sun visor organizer (any recommendations of good ones?)
9. Cubby hole/storage rubber mats (found one at shopee)
10. Trunk lifter spring (found one at shopee)

What do you guys think? Any thoughts, advice or recommendations?

I'll be purchasing the same model, bro. BTW, I'm from Kuching.

For 1, 3, 5; I just go for Gear Up together with the body kit.

My car ETA will be arriving somewhere in April.

And perhaps I'll add-on fog lamp too; pasang kat kedai.

From your experience, how is the body roll.
Is it very obvious wobbly when you turn corners?
What about at highway?
At what speed till you feel unstable?

I drove MyVi Icon, so for Bezza, feels just a lil bit ringan; especially corner I usually put a lil bit of break.
The wobble only obvious if you are above 80km/s and take slightly sharp corner and above.
Speed that feel unstable somewhere 80 km/s.
Need to be reminded that Bezza 1.0 GXtra is build mainly for city/town drive.

nissan use JATCO which is their own transmission, proton use cheap china brand punch CVT which is wet clutch transmission and it still been updated. current version is VT2+. the old FLX/persona using VT1. original IRIZ using VT2, while saga VVT, persona VVT, MC1 IRIZ using VT2+. some people said the new one might use VT3 but its just rumors. recently some journalist said saga facelift might using 4AT from korea

if not mistaken, proton starts with VT2, then into VT2+ which comes with improvement in terms of NVH, and the good thing (depends on how you put it) for proton is they continuously improves their ECU & TCU which improves the efficiency and operation of the cvt, as well as the throttle mapping. SOmething that Perodua doesn't bother to do on their cars. Not sure whether their tuning is already optimized, or they don't bother (since they sell so many vehicles already, no need to improve alreayd to secure for sales), or daihatsu doesn't give them support (i believe Perodua is like Proton during mitsubishi engine era, whereby they have no authority over ECU tuning).

For VT3, it is meant for Proton turbo models, the difference between VT2 and VT3 is the torque handling capacity, one of the reason of Proton CFE engine having a soft turbo is because of the shortfall of VT3 CVT where it only able to handle 220Nm max. Hence proton make the CFE engine to have 205Nm output.

Yeah, heard about the rumor of 4AT as well, if the 4AT is efficient enough it maybe not losing out too much of fuel efficiency compare to the Punch CVT.

Sorry for the OOT though.

Anyway, will really like to see peordua using cvt on their models, i wonder when perodua will implement cvt. it surely able to bring the fc to be even better.

9. Cubby hole/storage rubber mats (found one at shopee)
10. Trunk lifter spring (found one at shopee)

What do you guys think? Any thoughts, advice or recommendations?

1. Installed Stage1 back in Apr2018, price including installation was Front Strut Bar (RM198), Rear Anti Roll Bar (RM330), total: RM528.
2. Can get anywhere online, recommend not to get those with wooden material, as they can't last long.
3. Can get anywhere online, many prices and designs, but work the same.
4. Stay on with original steering, enjoy original material.
5. Using Trapo, should be better than any coil-type.
6. Too many in the market.. just buy and try.
7. Not using this, but too many type in the market too..
8. No idea, not using.
9. What is this?
10. No idea, not using.

1. Where did you get Stage 1 installed? Was there any significant difference at highway up to what speed? How fast can you corner with confidence after installing them?
2. Noted
3. Ok
4. Will do, just heard a youtube reviewer (autophiles) saying the gxtra steering feels like sandpaper
5. Will check on trapo. Reason for me considering the thickest car mat available is to insulate the sound and vibration coming from below (if there is any)
6. Ok
7. Ok
8. Ok.
9. Rubber mats for the cubby holes to avoid rattling noise if put loose small items.
10. Search google: "Car Trunk Boot Lid lifting Spring Device" to see what it is.

Thanks for your input mate. Much appreciated.

bought from lzd that time, and installed at Dtox car service center, many branches available.. and i did mine at subang empire mall.

if straight road like on highway and cruising over 90kmh, as the matter of fact bezza is a super light car.. it will still sway a bit (when crosswind effect or pass through large vehicle) though with Stage1 installed.. though i also upgraded the tyre slightly wider.. on 185/60/r14..

thus, i would say, the only noticeable one is during the cornering.. u will have more confident.. this is for the anti-roll-bar..

front strut bar, i would say, it only strengthen the chasis..

above based on my personal experience... no right or wrong..

i plan to buy a used bezza X from a direct owner. If i settle his loan amount, can i keep his car until he transfer ownership at jpj, then only i release balance to him? If seller dont agree i keep his car, i only worry he wont do the transfer ownership after i settle his bank loan. if that the case, what can i do to protect my right as a buyer? Appreciate your advise to those who experienced buying used car from direct owner. TQ
