QUOTE(singk @ Oct 27 2019, 01:23 AM) have done on the bezzakl - lumut by way of sekinchan, with stay over in teluk anson. kl - melaka by way dengkil, pd, kl - pd mini drive on hyway kl - genting (not fun, not again... lol) kl - kuantan by way of jerantut (rendezvous persiaran van tour guide fren ) then hyway onwards to cherating kl - behrang by way of bestari jaya on b33 byway kl - taiping (normal hyway drive w/ family) kl - mantin, bentong, (lulian runs...) numerous 2 hour drives to nowhere... most drives alone. if drive on byway (B roads) at around 60-80 kmh, km/L can reach 19kmL avg. if no jam la... school holidays now coming and i'm itching to be on the road again.. when i got this car, we were in the midst of cutting down on expenses, with kids college looming and income dwindling.. we had to make cuts... namely having less cars and focusing on just 1 car each for wife n me... one car that had to do almost everything and be "cheap". MPV/SUV were gas guzzlers (diesel is not really a thing in mesia, unlike europe) and pricey for my current state.. i was looking for a car that: 1 economical (cost cutting mah..) 2 long distance cruising (car can do town n have long legs to cruise at lower rpm) 3 carry luggage on the longer cruise 4 reliability (still testing as we go thru life) anything else is a bonus.. manage our expectations, so that we wont be disappointed all the time... one thing i really miss for long drives is the auto cruise control... so, ended up with the bezza after much info searching in forums, asking questions, and base spending capability and still have money to have some fun... didnt want to drive "LOOK AT ME" cars and the bezza is the next thing to being invisible.. i like that... i am like that... ostentatious showmanship is not my thing... gone past that stage.. so my bezza DOES NOT HAVE hello kitty stickers or any stickers.. stock standard. oh.. one thing... bezza seats sucks man... especially long distance, and the driving position (being upright oso sucks) my legs get cramped during long drives.. especially when i get out of the car and find that my legs have gone to sleep.. and the relation between the seat and the wheel oso sucks.. (for me la) the steering wheel being non adjustable has made me re-adjust my steering style from 'hand over at the top to hand over at the bottom of the steering wheel.. meaning for long distance, in a more relaxed way, i do the shuffling technique with the hand over of left/right hand at the bottom of the wheel rather than on top of the wheel (cos the wheel sits so high) doing the cross hand style on top of the wheel means that i have to lean forward from the seat and thats going to be uncomfortable in a long drive.. sekian maklumat yang di ranchangkan untuk sesi ini... lol This post has been edited by jtan.pdr: Oct 27 2019, 02:42 PM |

QUOTE(-PuPu^ZaPruD3r- @ Oct 27 2019, 12:58 PM) Saw on FB a Bezza installed so many ultra racing bars. I think until stage 2 or 3.. show off the bars.. next picture show end up in longkang sideways i brought my son to a go kart place in sepang to learn driving where there's less danger of expensive accidents...Hahahahaha so stupid.. using stock tyres and didn't lower the car at all πππ and had lots of fun too... and blisters on the palm of our hands.. next time i'll bring padded leather cycling gloves.. great way to learn car control and judging limits.. written by someone who's crashed a few times (mainly by faults of others while exercising my own stupidity) expensive lessons... better to learn from other's mistakes.. much cheaper.. lol This post has been edited by jtan.pdr: Oct 27 2019, 02:45 PM |

QUOTE(KKLeong @ Oct 28 2019, 12:15 PM) Honda city or toyota vios should be your choices. Bezza long journey cruising is not tht good, you can feel vibration and underpower on highway. It make long journey much more tired but city and normal roadΒ traffic work terrific. You are right.. But only if I'm on the road for long period of time.. But this is only for once in awhile long distance drives which I do mabbe.. 5 times a year? 2 hour home to home drives to clear my mind trips, like, Mabbe 10 times a year? Not much in the grand scheme of things that I do in a year.. And do this for rm 20k+interests more in my pocket. Or 1 year college fees for the boy.. If I didn't get a rm 70+k car.. And there's the price... took a 3 year repayment loan and more money in the pocket... wife complain not 3 star brand car... or 4 roundrel car... if rm70k car then must take a 5 year loan less fancy food children get less clothing... wife complains even more... In other words.. Don't listen to a materialistic wife.. Aaaaaahahhahaha! Just live within one's means.. And adjust to that life where there is a balance between practical nessecity and and a larger encompassing quality of life. This post has been edited by jtan.pdr: Oct 29 2019, 08:38 AM |

QUOTE(dylan_chng @ Oct 29 2019, 03:14 PM) My friend's auto kelisa going up hill similar story. stubbornly stays in 2nd gear. low rpm despite near full throttle and shifting into 2. I couldn't help but feel like it could do with a 1st gear selection. yes.. it can do much more if we had a dedicated 1st gear selection...5k rpm for a minute oso no problem... in fact, i sometimes leave the gb in 3rd gear when on 110kmh to achieve higher rpm to blow out the carbon deposits... old school way of doing it.. my proton saga 1st gen manual sees 5k rpm very frequently... others who sat in my car always ask if i modded the enjin... no, stock standard but trained to rev freely. QUOTE(singk @ Oct 29 2019, 11:41 AM) ""wow, you've chalked down a lot of mileage on your bezza."" This post has been edited by jtan.pdr: Oct 29 2019, 04:15 PMso did u!! u traveller too huh? nice... visit msia... any year, not just 2020... lol ""Pg - Fraser Hill (not gonna ply this route again on bezza, not nice)"" i was planning this!!! thanks for the heads up... ""pg - cameron highlands"" how was this trip?? can the car handle the slopes? which route did u take? (there's 2) ""ride and handling not perodua's strong point, so just leave it. no need to comment more either."" lol... agree here.. just work within its parameters and we'll get to where we want to go.. ""body NVH, can't fight the closest competitor (another A segment sedan)"" lol.. here i agree too... let's not name names... nanti kena flame... kekekkekek i didnt do sound proofing to the roof, thot its only seasonal and wont drive so much under rain rite? nowadays when raining, like driving under a corrugated zinc roof... lol but actually hor, honda city nvh oso not good leh... neither is the CRV for that matter.. (both i've sat in) but one thing i like is the bezza long suspension travel.... seldom bottom out the car.. dude... take care during these rainy season... read about the flash floods up there... all the best wishes thru this wet season.. |

QUOTE(lionn @ Oct 29 2019, 05:47 PM) Can I ask what type of battery does all your Bezza comes with? mine is those that need to add water type. I have been driving for 1 year and just realise that. Same.. P2 would have given u a bottle of distilled water to top up the battery.. Care not to over fill or the acid will spill over and destroy other parts. If dunno, take car to a battery shop or ur mechanic and ask them to teach u.. Cant tell from texts but a hands on learning lesson.. And pay them la.. Cheap cheap solution. But this battery seems good ones. Lasted longer than some that I got in other cars.. Some lasted me just 1 year.. This post has been edited by jtan.pdr: Oct 29 2019, 06:52 PM |

QUOTE(singk @ Oct 30 2019, 12:21 AM) fraser hill route will be fun to drive...... alone. not with passenger especially in the rear. How i wish my bezza has strut bar nd rear anti roll bar as it surely beef up the cornering performance by fair bit. and you need to be really gentle through the corners as you will upset the weight balance especially those zig zag corners (plenty of them here). ""cameron, i took the simpang pulai route,""cameron, i took the simpang pulai route, it can handle the slopes, no worries. and again, 1329cc, you gonna need a golden right leg to make it work. nvh wise, not only the roof but the overall body nvh wasn't that good. imagine the nvh is worse than a 13 years old myvi... i was like did the car struggle like going up genting? nvh i did additional sound proffing for doors, firewall, floor, and boot... thats where i spent my modding cash... by adding weight to the car... lol |

QUOTE(BezzaPremiumX @ Oct 30 2019, 07:24 PM) After a few hrs wanted to drive the car, experienced hard cranking as in got cranking sound & sounded strong somemore but engine just refused to fire up. After a few tries, finally succeed but drove with a heavy heart thinking what hv gone wrong with a new car? honestly, my experience with this kind eco car with start/stop button is limited...The next 6 mths showed no signs of weak starting & same problem surfaced. This time I took a multimeter to check on batt 1st thing b4 the morning cold start as that will give the most accurate reading. Indeed read abt 11 plus Voltage but I cant remember exactly at what point will be the make or break point if u guys know what I mean. The incident did freak me out abit I confessed & since then I make it a point to check on the health of batt myself fr 12 mths onwards. The start stop city drive certainly didnt help much in recharging our batt I think but lotsa long distance driving would definitely make the battery last longer. me oso wondering abt its battery life . thanks for sharing ur experience!! QUOTE(singk @ Oct 31 2019, 10:03 PM) the slopes is ok, you just floor the throttle whenever you need the power, and you've no worries. personally i'm more worried about those really slopey slopes like the one coming down from the cactus valley, so slopey until i need to go really slow and let the brake cool down to prevent overheating the brakes. I guess must try driving then only will know how it is.. honestly, i don't think doing insulation will add a lot of dead weight into the car, it shouldn't be like another 100kg either, probably a 20-30kg additional, just like a full tank petrol added to the plain car weight. Now sitting iny car waiting for daughter kumon/tuition to be over, raining anjing n Kuching, I'm reminded why I didn't put roof sound insulation.. The windscreen both front and back is just as noisy with rain spatter sound.. .. Lol |

QUOTE(KKLeong @ Nov 2 2019, 12:53 PM) They charged you for it though. Buy one bottle from petrol station je. But, battery water level dont have transparent part indicator on surface, difficult to check current level. Ya man.. I filled over the top line, that's why I said to be careful when filling. I've only filled it twice.. But looking at the amount of times I have to fill it and the capability to last more than 2 years makes this battery a worthy contender to the other maintenance free batteries I've used before.. Some not even 1.2 years of life.. Probably reconditioned battery sold as new.. Worst experience is a century brand.. 6 months.. |

QUOTE(singk @ Nov 4 2019, 01:29 PM) overfilled slightly should be ok, rule of thumb is don't let the acid touches the plastic piece of the refill hole. Sorry for late reply.. worst experience i had is yokohama, it died 1year 2 months in service. Been busy. "don't let the acid touches the plastic piece of the refill hole." Thanks for info. |

QUOTE(singk @ Nov 8 2019, 04:55 PM) whole module stuff = more earning opportunity for perodua, because you can't get it outside. that's the point. like the headlight on myvi and aruz, if the LED module got burned, i think die die only can go back to Perodua sC. lol...i hear u man... but that goes for all manufacturers that do LED module incl headlights.... need to change the whole head light.. either left or right module... from honda to mesrati.. thats the nature of current state of LEDs |

QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Nov 13 2019, 02:38 PM) I cruised from Tapah stop to Sg Petani and from Sg. Petani back to KL. Total mileage is 564.1km. I achieved 22.2km per litre along the trip and i only spent RM0.098/km. This bezza is really berbeza from other segment A car.....and the reason why i choose back the bezza after i sold it once...haha Nice.. What was ur average speed? All with one tank of petrol? |
