Oh, the internal sound proofing. The one I meant was those 3M/5M tapes that you tape around the perimeter of the door frames, or the inner groove of the car where, when the car door closes and meets the car body. Those rubber tapes But wow, 2k+, time to menabung lagi!
Actually, I'm spoilt by my other car, a Nissan sylphy which has awesome sound proffing..
But if just driving around town, the decibel drop is not that great.. From my experience in other bezza during grab sessions.. Meaning that when a motorcycle passes me, I can still hear it..
It's just the long distance drives that I feel it really has qualitative effect..
sylphy has the nickname of magic carpet for the nvh performance it had. something that nissan proud of, their noise insulation.
Almost everything else other than the nvh sucks tho.. Hahahahahahahhaha.. So much so that they stopped selling that car and the second hand value became ice... Lol
But yeah, we got the car 1st cos its cheaper, but a very high 2nd is the nvh.. We old aledi mah..
We have the 1st gen sylphy.. Love the sofa seats too..
Child labor? I call that early education/life skill training/like you put it, kemahiran. A lot of people these days don't know how to.
Lol If I were in the Sweden, I'd be in jail for bringing up the kids the 'Asian way'..
But then again, Sweden, with a population of less then 10 million can build submarines, ships, jet fighter, tanks, cars, Ericsson electronics, IKEA, World class rally and F1 drivers, Shell, may have quite abit to teach us..
The difference of quality of the populace compared to the quantity..
Democratic socialism at work with a highly educated world view enlightened populace.
Anyway.. I digress..

Talking about the 1st 1k km breaking in the engine is almost like talking about religion.. There's so many ways to skin the cat.. (figurative la) But once in a while, I put the car in 2nd gear and drag the car till 5k rpm..
Just to let the different control units be aware that there is life after 3k rpm.. Lol
Fitted the conti cc6. It's like spree said, it's quieter, but abit more vague in steering response.. Haven't tried it in the rain yet..
just wanna make my comment clearer... in terms of quiet, its quieter than ecopia but not 'silent' ya... heh still havent drove in real rain... yesterday, looking for water puddles n driving thru them with my family around, i didnt dare go to extremes la...
Total 180km to date. Car came with 10km driven already. (Wednesday - Sun) 10.8km/l at the moment. Mostly city driving, to work and back, to supermarket and back.
thats what i got when new oso...
re. 1k km break in... just drive la...
modern engine construction tolerance nowadays is much more precise than 30 years ago... that manual is like something u read 30 years ago oso... never change.. just a safe guide... just dont go over 3k rpm... and dont worry too much about it, the car will adapt itself to your driving style...
i once break in a rebuilt mitsubishi saga enjin at 3k to 5k rpm... manual car and the enjin damn free revving afterwards... other people with proton 1.5 enjins oso ask if mod my enjin... no man... stock standard... thats what i mean by the car adapting to ur driving style.. even without modern ECUs..
like i said, there is life after 3k rpm... lol
just the auto gb is not conducive to high revs..

Heard abt the drone attack on Saudi oil production plants? AF as F man.. Don't even know where the drone originated from.. Oil prices may spike and we'll be paying more per litre..
it doesn't always happen right? or it can be reproduce using the method you mentioned above? If yes, pump 97 and try it again. If it still happens, time to talk to perodua. if it gone, then it is purely knocking. trust me, perodua can't do anything about it, they have no access to ecu tuning.
ooooo ya... engine knocking.... seems like a past history thing with ECU management nowadays.... seldom do get this or hear about this anymore...
P2 cannot access the ecu tuning?? waaahhh... so dahsyat ah..?
ok.. if lidat then can also be the MAF sensor bad... (mass air fuel) and the ecu gets wrong readings and apply wrong air fuel mixture.
but then again, OP said coming from AC iirc...

Can Bezza 1.0/1.3 filled with ron100? Reason being somebody give suggestion not to use the fuel injector cleaner as suggested by SA, but instead fill empty tank with ron100 (maybe 1/3 tank) to actually does the cleaning job better? Also save some bucks from getting the fuel injector cleaner.
i dont think 1 tank can do that much... its supposed to be a regular process done over time to maintain efficiency.
come to think of it, i didnt choose the cleaner in my last service cos i can get it out side and i forgot about it... now that u reminded me... which also means that i dont use cleaners... mabbe i'll give it a go...
caltex is good imo... but so few stations around...
All fuel have their own formula additive cleaners.. Not just caltex... Techron is the name of a formula that's used by caltex (Texaco company), Chevron, Esso, Mobil (Exxon Mobil), Gulf, Conoco, Union 76, etc.. These are American companies that were actually broken up from a Big conglomerate called Standard oil, owned by a fella called Rockerfeller. They just share the same formulation... just the branding is different...
There are other formulas by Penzoil, Bardhal, 3M, Bayer Chemicals, Bell Labs, BASF, STP, DOW chemicals, etc.. every oil company from Total, Repsol, Petron, Pertamina, Petrobras, Petronas, BP, Shell, etc.. all have their own formulation for cleaning additives... i wont be suprised if Monsanto oso have their own cos they are a chemical company... and the oil companies just JV or subcontract with/to these chemical companies to derive their formulation...
one that i wont believe so much is the car companies that have their own fuel cleaners... (they are not chemical companies)
All of them proclaim that they're the best.. Lol
The take away of the video at the end is that if u starting with a new engine, a fuel with no additives has less carbon deposites than a fuel with additives.. Go figure..
check out: Perodua Axia on RON 97 petrol – will it cause damage? LYN seem to remove the link i post... google it.
