and dont forget, if windsor vs brisbane head to head with same clockspeed, windsor will surely pawn brisbane...

QUOTE(dblooi @ Oct 7 2007, 02:16 PM) nice to see 90nm windsor in action haiz, due to insufficient vdimm, maybe you can tweak ur ram timings abit, can get much more better efficiency my 2500mhz n 800mhz can't pass super pi... btw sifu, can guide me how to tweak the timings? i've heard be4 tat tweaking duno which timing is easier to pass or wad... |

QUOTE(byfc2010 @ Oct 7 2007, 02:25 PM) haiz, due to insufficient vdimm, maybe you can try the change the ram-timings 1st,my 2500mhz n 800mhz can't pass super pi... btw sifu, can guide me how to tweak the timings? i've heard be4 tat tweaking duno which timing is easier to pass or wad... change 5-5-5-15-21-1T to 4-4-4-7-11-2T and see, after that you can try to tweak the ram sub timings by using memset... btw, TF6100am2 is not a good mobo, i use it b4, and i've performed vmod on it ( after vmod max vdimm = 2.6v) but couldn't overclock my ram also ( my ram is D9GKX ram chipset, capable to hit 1200 with 2.44v on my TF7050) i guess it has something to do with the mobo bios, not really well designed for DDR2 ram overclocking |

QUOTE(dblooi @ Oct 7 2007, 12:21 PM) anyone try to play with this before? Bro, how much vdimm do you set?calculate what's the best Pi efficiency that you can get Pi efficiency = CPU clock x Pi 1M result example: 3000MHz X 27.5s = 82500 the lower the value, better the efficiency. CPU-Z validation: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=228685 come one guys, it is fun to play. you can know how good is ur tweaking skill tru this test [attachmentid=306962] |

QUOTE(CV6149 @ Oct 7 2007, 02:37 AM) bryan, stock volts were 1.35 coz mine was the not the EE version, i need about 1.425v to have it stable on 9x cpu multiIm using 4200+ also currently.......just got a new mobo to play..ultra2-m2... clocking the proc slowly now... I do agree with the diff multiplier will yield diff result... currently running the 9x multiplier... What kind of voltage u runnig on that 9x?? |
