Nothing is guaranteed..

PIDM is not guaranteed as well.. (no single party can save mbb, cimb, pbb etc all in the same time)

Land and factory is also not guaranteed... (natural disaster, change of law, business environment change etc)

Even you hold ringgit under your bed is not guaranteed... (some country can depreciate currency more than 90%)

But there is lower risk, higher risk, so far I would said asnb is same risk with epf. EPF guaranteed dividend, but not capital guaranteed.

Well...
PIDM is non issues actually.. Because if anything really happens.. It won't have the financial to cover / pay... So just forget about the protection... For show only.. Nothing else...

Buy land & setup factory sure have risk..
That's why high risk high gain... U could lose or win.. Who knows 100% return within few years... Or 100% lost few years time... Endless possibilities...

Unker want to go.. Please proceed.. But do research first.. Simply don't jump.. Check out strength, weakness, competition in Malaysia & overseas. Within market & others... All needed to check out ๐Ÿ™

You hit the nail on the head! Good.

I called ASNB office today and the lady told me the SC's extension has nothing to do with the FP or VP, just changes in statement reporting. I find that surprising and then asked what about the ASB that was changed from FP to VP. She told me that was stated in the trustee/prospectus to change to VP in 1990. I wanted to verify that in the old prospectus and thus asked here.

Don't take what I have said as the golden truth. If later they changed them to VP, I will not be liable.

The master prospectus is too long to read. I wanted to scan through by searching for word "fixed" but cannot search that doc (like a scanned doc). Anyone here can help by converting that to normal pdf?

Thanks.

EPF, ASNB and Bursa stock, all three are confirmed tax-exempted, at least till end of 2019, as never mentioned in 2019 Budget to imposed tax. So status-quo of tax-exemption remain same.

i heard lots of people said PIDM doesnt have enough funds to guarantee.

but you forgot BNM can print as much money as it wanted.

but too much money supply in Malaysia means its going to be Zimbabwe 2.0

Do your research.. what's the net worth of PIDM versus Maybank..

Take note that it was PIDM only that covers the bank.. not any other government (linked) agencies like epf, khazanah, asnb etc..

Pidm is pidm, bnm is bnm. Pidm doesn't have access to bnm's decision or fund.
