Heloo sifus,
I am considering the Pengisytiharan Amanah promo but would like to find out if you know if I would have to submit for registration 3x if I were to do for ASM, ASM2 and ASM3?  I tried looking up the FAQ page but it does not seem to have the details.  I am assuming one form could cover all 3. ;-p  I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts on this if you have done the registration.

Morning. The Sifu Specialists seem to be on PTO.
Unker reply will be a cryptic one.
The obvious reason why you considering applying for the trust n answer to your question, embedded in Bryan Adams - All for love lyrics, line#15-18.

Thanks very much, Unkerpanjang!
I just stopped by the ASNB to obtain a form and the officer mentioned just one set will do for the various "tabungs"but multiple copies for the beneficiary if more than one.  :-)  Now the other conundrum will be IC of the witness and receiver/beneficiary need also be certified true copy (?!) if I read the FAQ correctly.  Alamak!  *sigh

It states there investment, I don't think they mean withdrawal.  Oops, I mistyped I should have written daily cash investment instead of transaction.  My bad!  I'd better edit my earlier post to avoid confusion/panic.

Congrats on being an overachiever in the wasiat application, plus meticulous sharing.

This info sharing is done some time back, there's a OTC asnb withdrawal limit for cimb n few other banks; if I recall correctly, no withdrawal limit for mbb.

That's the reason I linked maybank2u with myasnb. (As I was paranoid with the previous ruling party.) Requirements cud have changed over time.

Anyway, for most of us non bumi, limited allocation n favorable dividends... Ada masuk, kurang keluar.

Haha, picking up some distress signal. In fact the 'distress' /failure message is quite consistent feature. Your name reminds me of Alex Cross.

So, to the point,... Those people that become successful fishermen, is due to their internal locus of control... They might have failed at early stage, but they come back stronger, more determined, wiser, Lessons learnt from this forum, improve in their spamming, etc.

The opposite is people with external locus of control.... Typical 'Why God, why?' resigned to fatalism. This must be avoided, cannot go seeking pity, attention from people.

Maybe, you meant it as a joke, or half hearted attempts... But it has been going on far too long, doesn't affect us strangers, but give yourself some positive vibes. OK bro?

Morning all, Unker gonna enjoy watching John Wick 3 today, then eagerly resume back to work tomorrow. Some thoughts.

Blessed are the star studded Elders who selflessly share their knowledge in this forum.

Fortunate are the you n I, who discovered n benefited from this sharing. We gotta to pay it forward by helping others. Can be as simple as a motivational msg or as detailed as the wasiat application process.

Yet, there are others, both professionals n others who haven't maximized their investments, may it be asnb, insurance, etc. Compounding time n $ is your greatest friend. Don't lose out this opportunity. (till today, Unker still paying monthly $90, for a life insurance when I started work with $1.2k salary, just realized its worth $48k today), its a tidy sum.

To the laggards in this forum, we continue rooting for you to land your 1st catch, can be $100 or more, we don't discriminate. We just want you to share your success story n motivate others.

Unker, if you go on one more movie day/tomorrow (I assume back to work = captcha asmx) is also making one more motivation to forumer. Why? Because less one more shark to catch fish(asmx) laugh.gif
Joking *Dont throw popcorn at me ya* tongue.gif

Hahaha, seriously, Unker go back working after 6 weeks hospitalization leave. 7 years ago, Unker very siao into the American Ninja exercise... Do exercise, bad fall. Have been delaying n learning to live with increasing pain. Finally, with aging, situation recently deterioated to point of cannot walk, sit. Doc performed minimally invasive 3hrs ops n put screws on spine. I'm OK now.

To that point, you fellow investors in trouble liao, tmr Auntie takes over spamming, no give chance one. She is better, faster n focused compared to Unker. Like the Terminator movie.

Sigh, Unker tension, cannot sleep lah... So much work waiting. Kakakah!

I remember the days when people were worried that EPF money will be gone and then panic ensued, people withdraw money out for house purchase, etc.
Is this still the case since I see many people here are maximising self contribution to EPF instead?

And is it worth increasing savings there?
*
Morning Sapphire,

Unker says good question. The answer is 2 different words, 'Trust n Believe'.. Most logical will have to believe the facts on EPF as well as ASX demonstrated yearly dividends (in the papers n media) are better than FD. Yet ASX started ard >14 years, some still believe its a Ponsy scheme or major firm of Racism n don't wish to invest.

Also, people believe in Pidm when it says amounts below $250k guaranteed, but doesn't know how much of the Pidm money is leveraged (enuf to pay all investors), n who gets paid first (does the rich n well connnected customers get priority) when there's multiple bank runs n Govt collapsing.

So that's 'believe', is something you cannot see but in your mind it's true (Unker won't cross the line into Religion).

Unker own mother is 84yrs old, she was a nurse who worked with her boss assisting eye Ops until she was 81 yrs old. She wanted to be independent, active, save money. She loves me, believes I will never do any wrong, dutiful son.....

Except she doesn't trust Unker putting her money in ASX. She only trusts the Tiger Bank. Hahaha, what more to say? I can't even convince own mother, how to convince random strangers in a forum ASX, EPF is safe n good investment?

Happy Saturday, all.

Hahaha Unker disgusted with my typo errors early morning... But OK, think I got the msg thru.

Today personally, EPF n ASX forms the bedrock of Unker liquid investment. Using historical Conservative interest rates, just these 2 instruments pays me interest >rm$0. 38/minute, 24/7/365.

Unker will continue to pump $ into both instruments and hope it'll continue with sustainable dividend above 5%, something that Unker will heavily depends on during retirement, in next couple of years....to support family needs n wants, charitable foundations in education, temple funds, High hopes - private museum cum dessert shop in Georgetown for Unker to meet people n pass time, hahaha.

If both Efp n ASX turns out to be Ponsy scheme or Money Game,.... if you see an elderly man selling economy beehoon near Queensbay Mall, likely its Unker. Pls support buy few packets, OK? Just say membership password 'Lowyat Asnb Fp' ... Unker throws extra pickled chilly.

Bro Vincent,
Interestly, you share the same avatar as another forumer, Skytz.
Purely coincidence or not, may I know which manga character?

Since today is special, Vesak in Puasa month, Unker needs say something altruistic. So, have you exhausted all other options, where you need Not redeem the ASX?

Short term loan from parents, etc where they redeem their FD, to loan you the lump sum amount, but you repay their monthly FD interest % from your salary deduction? Keep your ASX intact, till you perform bigger sum after your year end bonus, or sell RSU (if any).

Again, Unker kay-poh one, hahaha. Other respected forumer, pls don't throw stones at me, OK? Hahaha... Ouch! Who throw, ah? Walau!

Would you consider ASB a type of saving or investment? Reason I'm asking is I read that savings are suppose to be 'safe' and something you are well saving up for (short term)

Investment on the other hand are there to grow your wealth in the longer period.

If say I was keeping money for a purchase, would ASB be a good vehicle?

Aiseh, today just your unlucky day as Unker too free, heavy rain cannot be outdoors. Unker ni doktor buruk. Need you to perform self assess.
Q1. Do you consider yourself a super safe, conservative, aggressive, super aggressive investor? Google n you will find which category you fall in.

Q2. What is the time frame of purchase? Is it time dependent or lump sum$ dependent. I.e. Die die must buy within x months, etc.. Or you wish to park your principle, to grow, until you reach the sum? But, subject to Q1. Just imagine, like TH fund, keep whole year, they give <2%. Can also happen in ASX. No one can guarantee,.. except EPF, min 2.5%. FD can also be revised up or down depending on OPR, BN.

Q3. Are you buying an asset or liability? I.e. Do you consider a Merz Glc250 a necessary asset? Unless, its a property... Is the item you intend to purchase, the full price, consists more than 5% of your total liquid savings. (can you afford it?)

Think thru, then refine your questions to the forumers.

Unker distress observing our talented fellow Malaysians unable to invest for a comfortable future/retirement.

Really senseless n non productive for our prime working individuals to do spamming during office hours or developing new biz. Investing shud be made easily available and little effort for all races. (Unker is a private person, as such, no FB.)... Need FB to start petition. 😑

Maybe, have one of fellow forumer start a petition (Go Petition) for PNB to increase Asnb FP allocation size. Since PNB wish to invest overseas, they will need more $$$ due to MYR weakness...to be a substantial investor.

Our new Malaysia shud really try to encourage everyone to invest, n not continue putting barriers..... Sigh!!!

Unker was chatting with Auntie, why Vinzcent looking to invest elsewhere despite a commendable 5.5% dividend.

Auntie interjected, as we do not understand each person's desire n maybe young Vinzcent is a whizz in alt investment, ie. Crypto, Reits, P2P, etc despite relatively small sum, cannot invest in flipping Property, etc.

But Aunties solemn msg to forumers, is shown below. In 2019, a person needs min $228k savings, with 5.5-6.0% dividend to generate $, support a $900/month expenses. While same boundary conditions, to be in middle class, an old couple needs $5k/months expenses needs $1.04M savings.

For those age 30 now... By the time 60 yrs old, Y2049. Cpi increases... The $228k will be close to $500k. To Vinzcent's defence, if ASX continues to be difficult buy, less n less dividends, the younger investors will need to learn new investment skills, diversification. Maybe, future not so bleak lah.

Aiyah, Auntie talks too detailed, Unker getting ready to spam today... Took PTO, sixth sense, salmon run gonna happen today...Good Luck all.
