Reason be, with most klse counters(except MBB) dropping over last couple of months largely due to Trade War, Malaysia stalled Mega projects, Monetary/Bonds uncertainties, etc. I thinking most investors will expect ASM2, 3 dividends to be lower than ASM1. Nothing changed fundamentally, expect timing issue.. even Kwsp Q1 investment down. So, Unker attack ASM2, 3...Unker sharing personal thoughts only ah!!!

Unker also monitoring very closely Sgx Bank shares, eg. OCBC shares, Sgx move much faster than Klse. Blue chip n coming down to 52 week low... A buy, below $10. Malaysians enjoy best of both worlds, ASX n Stocks. Again, thinking Unker aloud only, not to offend any stock experts in this forum. 🙏🙏🙏

For case, if really that guy redeemed $60k on Fri, quite sceptical (miss whole month interest), or really no choice liao... Over invested, pay some $$ to avoid penalty or holidays....or, a case where Asnb release some fishes, I don't know, don't care to speculate.

But, if I were in the person's shoes.. I will redeem asm3 over asm1. Again individual DYODD.

Unker can immediately identify with the merits of this monthly top up process. I think it's an option for non-bumi to workaround the senseless spamming n low catch rate due to shrinking ASX pool.

Except for the younger n over-adventurous investors, possibly ending up with stretchrd budget n the kwsp funds is quite illiquid n there's rigid withdrawal criteria, that'll be a challenge.

Will go kwsp this Fri morning to dig further.

On the flip side, Unker doesn't have vice worth mentioning, the daily $ bets ASX spamming, does create some personal satisfaction n excitement, tell fishermen tales in this forum. Pity gonna miss all that.

Unker am aligned on the 1st 60k self contribution. Unker already maxed out this year.

My query on the borang 17a. Assuming after kwsp, lhdn Unker take home salary $5k. Yet Unker has $50k in savings account.

Scenario 1
Unker uses borang 17A, to deposit $5k/month over 10 months.
(per my take home salary)

Scenario 2
Unker uses borang 17A, to perform a lump sum $50k just 1 month.

But, either way at Unker age makes sense, it's just another trip to kwsp to stop the contribution.

For myself, as Elder Believe alluded to, i can still invest into kwsp akaun emas with borang 17A.

This will allow the younger gen, more chance to invest in ASX n still concentrate on their work.

As the monthly deduction should be directly from employer payroll to kwsp.

Unker hit akaun emas this year. The younger investors must have hope, once DSAI becomes next PM, he might just bulldoze thru another FP fund.

As really, those people near my generation benefited from ASX with lump sum investment back then n ample fish in the pond.

EPF office doesn't accept cash... If cash top up, fill an epf form + bank deposit form + lineup + e-thumb print verification.

Best is maybank2u or equivalent. Not sure if can deposit for 3rd party.... As Unker can do it for auntie also, because of maybank2u joint account.
