It didn't, 22d's VoLTE cannot work with Digi but I got it early of the year after I sent it to someone to do something to it. I believe you will understand what I meant la. tongue.gif

Great so you do have VoLTE running on your 22d 😉

In that case I can recommend my friends using DiGi Infinite who are looking for B618 to get the special edition 22d's

To reduce cost of purchase for the 65d, you can try joining and source in the B618 or Digi Infinite group on FB. They have used units and also new ones for RM6xx last I saw. Please make sure you COD to be safe.

That is really cheap but surprised that particular 22d does not support B3 + B7, only B8, which means no VoLTE/CA.

I am still curious why they won't include the data usage for Infinite users in the MyDiGi app. Could it be, because they want to portray it to be unlimited?

careful buy cheap2 unit b612 or b618. as some huawei units, seem bugged. even flash firmware still bug. technically the modem hardware support b3 n b7..but not sure why it's only support b20 or so on...careful/watch before u buy.
*
This is the main point I keep telling my friend who are keen on looking for the cheapest B618 for sale out in the market. It's just too good to be true since the price is almost 50% cheaper than the brand new 65d sold on Shopee and Lazada. Reasons why those modems only support B20 band, when technically they should include B3 + B7 is really mind boggling

seller said got volte and 4G+ la.....

but i dont like the design.. price RM7xx... 4G+ modem price range ok la... with 4x4mimo and 4G+. still cheaper than retail price for b618 aka RM1.1k~1.2k... so judge your self la... which one is better if u can still get around the price...

search around fb too la... today i saw 2nd 65d RM5xx... sold in secs... haha..good luck finding.. anyway how, better to be cod or via shopee... check item before receive or lazada... too many scammer this days.

b618-22d is more risky when buy, due to lock set after firmware updated..many are affected.  sweat.gif
*
Based on what you said, my conclusion is that the B618 is still the best choice and value for money based on the selling price of RM6xx. Especially the 65d used models, all selling like hot cakes. Literally "Gone in 60 seconds"

For new Infinite 150 subscriptions, you should be able to request for RM20×6 rebate. Cannot be done online or call-in thus only at a DiGi centre.

Does digi throttle speed for netflix/firestick? When i watch netflix using vpn the speed is quite fast but when i watch without vpn it stutter.
*
Same here. No buffering required nor any shuttering without the use of a VPN. In fact I get much slower speeds with the VPN. What speeds are you getting on your Infinite line?

Is that a webe rebrand? lel...
Still, no coverage at my area unfortunately, otherwise yes this might be an option...

Hopefully these competition means Digi price cut...  unsure.gif  cry.gif
Or offer / update plan...
I don't mind 10~20mbps limit as long as PC can download as much as I want...
i150's no speed limit definitely come with premium price but I don't need that speed most of the time.
*
Competition is always good as it forces the telco's to stay on their toes and provide us users with better deals and offers. Looking forward to see what DiGi has to offer to retain and keep it's Infinite subscribers.

Hi guys,
I'm totally new and not yet subscribe to DIGI Infinite, need someone to guide me.

1. To buy and get the best promotion to subscribe DIGI Infinite 150.
2. To buy the modem for suitable speed as i already run the speed test at my area.

yesterday i'm running speed test got
DL: 42.6Mbps
UP: 9.78

Really need anyone help on this.
Btw, im heavy on streaming movies, download movies and play online games.

Cheers and thanks

Upgrade from your current Infinite 80 to 150 and request from DiGi a RM20×6month rebate. Come back to the forum thread to inquire further once your 6 months rebate is up.

If you are looking for a high performance 4G/LTE-A modem, look no further as Huawei's B618-65d is king. Get that and have it configured + placed at a location near the window of your home and you will see, feel the performance increase on your Infinite 150 connection speed.

Hi Sir,
The one that i use for testing is my daily sim card. I'm using the Digi Postpaid 80.
any different between this two plan "speed"? is it mean if i subscribe to infinite 150 the speed can go up more?

My place has no unifi and whatsoever.
Any alternative for the modem? the huawei is quite expensive  sweat.gif
*
Considering that you don't have access to unifi and other fixed broadband options, DiGi Infinite 150 will serve you and your household quite well.

Seeing that you are getting those decent speeds off your daily + Postpaid sim, it's quite safe to say that you should experience better speeds performance if you switch your plan over to the Infinite 150.

As for the modems, I can't really comment on other models as I have only used the B618-65d. There are other much more affordable alternatives from Huawei such as the B525, B310 but don't expect VoLTE and carrier aggregation from them. There is also Netgear and Tp-Link 4G modems. Hopefully someone else from the thread can enlighten you.

Hi I'm a lurker registered to reply.
digi 150 Digi RM20x12months (RM240 REBATE)

Need existing digi line to get this offer.
if buy a new cheap digi prepaid then change. Anyone tested out? I'm pissed I didn't know this offer first, thinking about terminating current i150 then do the above:ranting:
*
You could try that as the rebate savings is well worth it. Too bad we missed the boat for the i100(S). That would have been the perfect deal DiGi had to offer.

You can't.
The cheapest and easiest way to get this rebate is by getting the Digi Postpaid 58, RM58 / month package, wait for a month then convert to the Inifite 150 plan.
But we don't know when is the rebate gonna end, live chat nor customer service could give me a definite answer.
*
I believe there is another cheaper plan for RM38, not sure if it's called Postpaid 38, but would that work if one is converting to the Infinite 150 plan? I asked the customer service that called me from DiGi HQ regarding the rebate and she said that DiGi will revise the promotion offer from time to time, so safe to say that we can expect something more exciting in the near future.

The RM38 plan won't work, I've tried as well.
The rep told me that plan is not eligible for the upgrade.

Duly noted. Thanks for sharing this info. Seems like the Postpaid 58 is the absolute lowest plan before one is able to make the switch. Darn, DiGi is sneaky 😅

not sure if its possible to port out to unifi air, since i think the simcard is data only

[attachmentid=10317714]

It's definitely cheaper than Infinite 150 which now cost RM139 (after rebate and SST included) but very limited availability in selected areas only based on their website coverage checker. Besides looking at their speeds makes me shrug if compared to what I am getting from my Infinite 150.

Bad news for DiGi though, as they will be forced to come up with a better plan to rival the competition.

The RM240 rebate for i150 My Webpagewebpage
after click into "change plane"

if prepaid can't use why the term state "for prepaid changing to ...."  sweat.gif maybe digi/web designer mistake  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

I asked the reps, they say it's eligible for all digi plan, but only selected number can use (by checking the box of surprise sometime it can be 90/70/240 rebate) and the link we access are unique and only usable for the person who initially receive the "box of suprise" promo.

I cba trusting them.
*
That statement by DiGi is really misleading. They should fix that rather than frustrating potential customers and pissing people off. I wonder, if there is a contract/tie up period for the Infinite 150 with the RM20x12 rebate? Usually Infinite plans are without contracts.

Makes me sad because I never got my Box of Surprise after all these years of being a loyal DiGi customer.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 20 2019, 02:36 PM)
I switched my Digi prepaid no. to 80 plan. They don't allow me to switch to 58 plan. bangwall.gif

I better ensure my investment worth the pain. I will finish off this 20GB and do the necessary in one month later.
*
Seems like they only allow you to upgrade and not downgrade. I feel your pain as some people who want to change plans also want to retain their mobile number. Too much red tape la.

i80 can switch to The RM240 rebate in 1-2days? Since u saved RM160, in case the promo's over by the end of ur  i80.... that will be big F
If you own a B618 already, Unifi Air sim only - no contract RM79 can try. If no good terminate end of 2nd months (because RM100 upfront payment)
If u like troubled + unsolvable issue and hassle-intensive customer S and risk of getting seizure for 2years for a FREE locked unifi B618 use then go for the sim + b618 thumbup.gif
*
Oh yeah, almost forgot about the 24 months contract and also the "Free" B618 which is now LOCKED and can't be used by DiGi Infinite users. I will pass on the seizures by not subscribing to this service.
