I think b618 can lock multiple tower at once.  Or at least 2 tower

For me at least, using band 3 alone is way better than using CA on 3+7 (off the same cell tower)

i wish my digi has strong signal here like this celcom.
reason i want to share this is because in this case, b618 dont really help significantly, as i got about the same result using my phone using the celcom

i just wish if digi catch up with the 2 big boys (maxis and celcom) in coverage, but it also make me worry if it happens, i doubt they would still sell unlimited internet like this infinite because then every infinite user would have access to 150-160mbps sucking all those bandwidth 

btw my next project with this is to use external antenna, will start with the indoor one then after that the outdoor. i read somewhere here before or in b618 thread, if there is one famous outdoor antenna from yagi, will try to get that one

alright noted, i already checked, indo price is about RM87 only, but selling here around 200-300+ as you said. fortunately i fly to jakarta alot, but i need to check can it be dismantled and how small, dont want to waste time being stopped by kastam in airport 

An update to my case. After my complaint made to Digi via the Digi App where I threatened to report this issue to MCMC, I received the reason that it was due to "congestion and high access from other users".

In the last 2 days since my complaint, my Infinite 150 speed has tremendously improved, reaching speeds of between 5 Mbps and 10 Mbps. As such, I did not proceed to report to MCMC. How is it possible that my speeds suddenly improved if the reason given was due to congestion and high access from other users?

Based on this experiences, I can only conclude that Digi has deliberately throttled the speed for Infinite 150 plans and only rectified the matter after I made a complaint. This whole experience with Digi has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

I am using a modem, specifically Huawei e5186. Does it make a difference between modem and hp?

Nope, did not try band locking. But might go ahead and try it out.

Yeah, my B618 and E5186 only have little difference in term of speed but cannot deny B618 is far better. E5186 is kept as spare now though totally not utilized..

When checking for speeds what speed is considered good on mobile?
I am currently testing speeds on my phone 4g before I decide to invest in a router.

Is there a big jump in speed from mobile to router?

one more nob question, if i dont buy new modem, i can use my unused phone tethering to use as a modem right?

My phone is Xiaomi Redmi 5 plus.
Initial testing around 8pm I am getting 5-15Mbps download and 0-7 upload.
I did test around midnight before, was around 23Mbps down and 40Mbps up.

Do you think modem will help alot?
I was thinking to get the Huawei B618 but I'm scared the speed won't be that good and I should get a cheaper one.
