I tether to my computer, and cannot access google.com.my and twitter today on my computer. Yesterday still ok, today cannot access since morning. However I can access google.com.my and twitter on my smartphone. This is strange, tethering computer cannot access but smartphone can access. Other sites that I visit are ok, only google.com.my and twitter has problem. Anyone know how to solve this problem. |

QUOTE(ericling @ Apr 13 2019, 11:22 AM) Hi all, what's the cheapest 4G modem router I can get for my Digi Postpaid Infinite 150? well b618 not that expensive anyway...Tried B618 and the maximum speed I can get in my area is only 30Mbps. I don't need it to be portable, using for my house. No Unifi coverage here. b310 also not cheap..i see modder selling around RM160~RM2xx... those without phone port are abit cheaper la... b618 22d, avg 2nd can get RM3xx~RM4xx.. even some able to get RM100 only..for lock set 22d. performance n stability go for b618. and for the VoLTE features if needed. |

QUOTE(ericling @ Apr 13 2019, 01:31 PM) Oh I didn't know only Huawei can lock band. It's really important based on my experience with B618. nothing beat b618....For Huawei, I am looking at Huawei E5577s (like what Digi offers for its broadband). Any reviews for it? How's it compared to B618? I'm considering it because my area can't support very high speed (B618 max only 30 Mbps). 4x4 mimo internal antenna.... u tested all band, b3, b7, b3+b7? all bad? e5577 is mifi... if indoor signal good/travel alots can consider mifi... if for home usage long hour better choose cpe modem. |

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Apr 13 2019, 01:46 PM) I just found out my Mate 20p by theory support cat21... That was super speed up to 1.6g dl, 200m ul. dont care much about cat100 or so.... most important you are using wireless broadband. And one link to b618-59d rm63x only https://shopee.com.my/babylck/1380474521?smtt=0.0.9 disclaimer: me not the seller. And I get nothing from sharing good indoor coverage good speed, bad indoor coverage bad speed. stability, latency, and time out. if for me, in hp, my indoor only get 2 bar 3G... cant get 4G.... cat100 also useless.... coz bad coverage/weak signal...rsrp are above 100+dbm from hp... |

I yet join yellow army yet. Maybe this evening I buy one prepaid to test my home speed. I think my phone will good for the test(no bottleneck at least) Then buy that shopee 59d. Now I wonder am I need to change sim after upgrade to i150... My home was land unit. Corner lot....i only worry the extra concrete + roofing will affect speed or no speed at all indoor coverage good connection better is rsrp <90dbm or <100dbm..above are bad connection ald.. |

65d RM63x ok la....
hp vs modem vs unable lock band modem. lock band features. when u are in area good indoor coverage signal, 4G+ area. digi will have 3 band available, b3 , b7 n b8. when auto/unable lock band, u will auto assigned either one of the band, no matter u are 4G+ support phone, or b618 modem... there is chance u will get b8 coz u are auto connection aka unable to lock band or lock 4G+... (b8 depends on everyone area speed. 5ghz tower, mine able to reach 20mbps+ not slow too it's happen to me.. i need self force 4G+, once it stick to 4G+ only switch back to auto mode... every single time ON or OFF modem need receive the band i connected, as 4G+ are better speed n connection |

Or need test by myself? android can install LTE discovery. only can read single band 4G only... if rooted phone can try network guru..more features can read dual band connection |

QUOTE(josh5671 @ Apr 13 2019, 02:58 PM) But single band are not useful for testing speed right? haha..depeends... mostly just take 1 daily internet for testing... As it limit speed to a range. Hmm.. Now I not sure going 40 bigbonus or 40 big terer if area congested, 4G+/b3+b7 is not a good option.... in that condition single band speed will be better |

QUOTE(abcn1n @ Apr 13 2019, 07:10 PM) Tested digi at home. Only have 1 bar signal on my TP-link MR400 modem. b168, if still weak, better add external antenna as signal seem very weak....point direct telco tower... Speed test for download ranges from 1-10.5 Mbps and upload from 0.4-1.5. Is there any way to improve the signal strength? see bar coverage also ok, but if can better see rsrp reading n location/find a good location inside your house. |

QUOTE(abcn1n @ Apr 13 2019, 07:22 PM) Thanks. Currently no good location. My yoodo is also 1 bar on modem but download and upload speed better than digi. Rsrp for Yoodo is -109dBm (digi should be worse. My digi has not much data left and I just switched out of digi sim card, so showing Yoodo's dBm instead. Digi's dBm should be worse than Yoodo). cheap2 for play, mimo antenna red colour box, better abit available on m'sia market LPDA type but need buy 2xunits, Do you know what kind of external antenna I can add (any website that I can go see?). I just bought my modem, so at the moment not considering Huawei B168 yet. or yagi txr-185 hard to get only available in indon, directional type. point to tower.
