mostly your area could be congested. else wont be an issue... tried lock different band also bad?

which modem are u using.

if is huawei install and run hmanager apps on your android phone.

digi using
1. b3 1800,
2. b7 2600,
3. b5 850/900(not remember)
4. b3+b7 CA/4G+

try lock each of it. if got internet connection mean that band is available at your location.

run a speedtest of each and compare.

PS : monitor RSRP reading in dbm too.. is directly affect your speed aswell.
RSRP lower the better

router receiption way better indoor. if your indoor signal is good then won't be much different.

router can get stable connection & lock band if some are congested.

try to get below 90dbm... find sweetspot around the house high/low/near the tower.

check speedtest with different rsrp location.

This is mine


last time on another spot rsrp around 102dbm. speed avg around 16mbps only... hardly see above 30mbps..

new spot able to get 90+dbm, speed able to see 50mbps

phone need to be rooted. dont know how to root the phone. some apps might not working on rooted phone

tower far away from my house...

1. 22d dont get from celcom anymore. is way more expensive. u need speed extra money to do unlocking/mod for Volte.
2. 22d shopee seller is selling more cheap with ready mod. there is seller got in from undertable.
3. 22d if unclocked mostly warranty ald void. of coz some seller still claim that warranty still available. unsure about that. if ald done with mod unlimited hotspot (imei, ttl is being modified)
4. 65d yes it come with warranty.
5. lock band. only necessary for area which is congested/slow on certain band. for digi is using b3, b7 and b8. CA/4G+ is b3+b7. u need to do a single speedtest your self see which is better speed/coverage/stable speed. 4G+ might not be the faster speed vs single band connection.

if tested b618 not much improvement u always can resell it back. lots of buyers. still hot piece of cake on market

best antenna is yagi txr-185.

others also can but i also need point to right direction when installation.

test with prepaid to monitor speed before proceed port in/sign up.

nope.. is a 4G modem only...

if u ald statify with current speed and saving budget just stick to current modem.

if want better of coz stick to b618 if u are using 150i to get max performance on 4G+ location.

hard to explain.

1. b618 internal antenna 4x4mimo will receive signal way better than any modem if your indoor signal is not that strong.
2. b618/huawei modem. able to lock specific band. and it got statistic data reading like for rsrp and sinr so u will know your line is strong or weak and u can find a sweet spot based on the reading/statistic u had.
3. lock band function, some are ok with auto band modem. like advance user might dont like auto band. digi using 3 band, b3, b7 and b8. if auto u might get lowest band like b8. is random. if u able to lock band u can lock the faster speed band that u like.
4. lock band, 4g+ might not be perfect or faster speed if tower on your area is congested. single band sometimes is better speed.
5. b618 got volte function. can utilize call function aswell and wont effect your internet connection.

many are happy with b618 after upgrade. if not statisfy or not improve at all just resales. u wont lose much... b618 still is a valueble modem.


dont waste your money on that fake antenna. shopee are selling cheaper... <RM50/60 only.. can try this first... but wont guarantee improve signal. get the red box one.

hardly to said if never tested. some using b618 during congested still usable.. not fast but can run...

sis can try buy b818 and test is out first... 8x8mimo... beast

maybe tm & celcom will take stock in like b618 later on

huawei b310. find moded version. and make sure u want phone port or not. coz that model some dont have phone port, some have. if have price might a bit higher.

yeap only sold in indon lazada/shopee in indon. if u got friends or cousin in there can ask them to help. or u need to wait and checking on digi infinite community group in fb see who is let go 2nd units.

Yeap. make u sure record and check the RSRP, SINR reading as well and what speed u get.

yes..any TM/cordless phone will do. but for modem b310 dont have Volte function. so when u doing call in/out. your internet will drop to 3G, and internet probably cant use...

if plan to use call in/out frequent, better take b618. it's support Volte. it wont effect internet/drop to 3G during call in/out.

depends on your area tower...

wifi only have 2.4ghz..so max cap around 50+mbps only...

if using LAN cable u might able to reach above 50mbps...

b310 4G max speed 150mbps...written on specs
