Good if Samsung. No red or green tint.
*
Samsung got red tint. (I compared with my friend Note 8 and iPhone Xs Max)
Non of the OLED is perfect bro.

People rant about LG OLED is LG didn't follow trend, they do green tint instead of red tint.
When people do compare, they shock! biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif I knew but don't want to pull cold water so fast even the phone not yet launched. Well, what Huawei said is correct "It's NORMAL". However as buyers, can't really can accept this excuse with expensive price.

Nola, Huawei bad luck lo.

Extreme Condition Green + Abnormal Green = BOM!

If the phone don't have the defect of the abnormal green, like what we can see even in bright environment, the situation wouldn't have become this bad.

Don get me wrong. I didn't back up the huawei on 'how good it was'. I own Samsung unit but didt tried SME CS yet, so I never comment Samsung good or bad..

I think few people in this thread have refunded. I not sure they return pre-order item or not.

Me super simple on smartphone. Like it keep it. Hate it trash it.

**side note.
I even intro some people here to get note 9 when say ask 'note 9 compare xx(fill in any mate 20 series)'

so fast forget what u said already or i catch the meaning wrong But I still think it same to Huawei. ?

Am I wrong on that?. The microwave gate was so famous.
Surely Samsung fix it too.
When problem start all brand will denied the issue.
Huawei also do the same. They insist normal on green issue until it became worldwide issue.

This is my full statement.

The photo you showed in abnormal green screen. It is defect, probably like 5% of Mate 20 Pro user being affected.
You should stop to let the Abnormal Green screen haunted you bro. Wake up from the night mare. Be strong!

What I am talked about his the Extreme Condition Green. Which suddenly many people thought only Mate 20 Pro have this issue. In fact, it happened in every OLED screen.

You can use my test image below.
To test green, white or red tint in any OLED.

Below are the prove of Note 8 using my test image.

Correction. Not extreme green.
That was extreme Grey condition, 90-95% black.

Just like ips light breed.. It will occur panel by panel slightly different(unless super high end hand picked) . But mostly people Don't n get the point...

Weird. My previous Samsung AMOLED, none of them had this issue. Does it only happen to curvy edge screen?

Not really, all OLED have this issue.
In extreme condition, all showing some kind of tint.

It is very similar like most of the Mate 20 Pro user trying to do a test by using Wechat shake screen, turn brightness to lowest and view it in a dark room.

The picture I shared is to "enhanced" those effect. I just want to tell that is no OLED screen is perfect, all are having some sort of tint issue. It depends on how the manufacturer hide it. Limiting the lowest brightness is one of the way to hide this effect.

I know some people here always misunderstood me like I am defending Huawei shit.

Those got screen green issue even is in bright environment, should go to Huawei and exchange a new one.

Exactly. OLED very good in "displaying" black. It just turned off the LED. Problem comes when it is super dim, not black.
All OLED have some kind of tint in "near black" image display.

That's why I said, non of the OLED is perfect.

By the way, why would you think I'll give you a black image? Haha...
