Depend on what brand...I have a cheapo generic one and at times phone showed incompatible cable? My other Remax one does support fast charging, at least much faster than default charger /ipad charger when plugged into Aukey QC3 charger
hello, yes it does charge with faster speed.. but not apple fast charge level.. sure it it faster than default charger which is 5W, ipad charger which is 10W... If you got ipad pro 12W charger, you get similar speed with PD with after market cable..
PD with after market will charge with 5V/2.4A mean 12W which is the same speed as ipad pro charger...
PD with ori type c cable will charge with 18W...

That is not for all 3rd party cables are not supported.
Can try with : Baseus & Mcdodo 1m long cables, so far the duration time just slightly slower a bit than the original apple 1m long lightning to USB C cable only.
Pay lesser and get the fast charge result, why not.
never learned.. i speechless.. go ahead..
always mentioned 3rd party able to fast charge.. then explain why when use mcdodo is slower by 30Mins compare to Apple ori cable. If it really support fast charge.. it will charge the same speed!!
All i ever want to share is if you feel apple ori type-c to lightning is expensive and want to opt for cheaper after market cable and if you dont mind the 30mins slower charging time.. you might as well just bought ANY after market 5v/2.4A charger and use with the cable come together with your phone... you will get similar/same charging speed with PD charger + after market cable.. it EVEN CHEAPER!
