Funny situation I found : I need to press both power and volume button to switch off the phone? Any logical reason why?
I did Google and found it had been like that since ipX
Except for bigger display size I had yet to see any significant differences with Ip8+ on overall performance and smoothness

Ipx max - Battery drain last night over 7 hours shocking - 8%. Everything left as status quo before I slept.
I had never experienced such high drain before on iPhones
My ex ip8+ averages 1 to 2% only
Could it be Bluetooth as noted it was left on?
Will monitor it again today

Xs Max : Well my battery drain last night was finally zero over 8 hours. This time I had fully charged it and BT was off
Will test again tonight with battery level at 70% to compare
All these are purely academic exercises

Xs Max - Battery drain from 79% charged last night was bad - 7% after 8 hours. It was zero % from 100% charged the previous night
This behavior similar to ip8+
Standby drain an unimportant issue as this is not my main phone
Unable to check battery usage in ios12 - shown screen on figure is accumulated?
