Just received my Leeu Design Bumper Case Clear Tpu type from Frescoone Store. Good and professional packing by Fresco One Store.
The tpu backcover is a soft tpu type which I like. Clear design. Accurate cut outs on speaker holes, charging holes etc. This is a thicker type of TPU clear cover compared to the Baseus one which offers better protection for your phone. The Bumper style air cushion at the 4 corners of the cover gives added protection should you drop your case. Though a bit thicker than the Baseus one, but this should offer adequate protection against small drops.
*
yours looks quite similar with the 1 i get from taobao.. slightly thicker TPU which i prefer..i have no worry to place my phone on table as the camera protector is good... some too thin drop = gg..

mine was black transparent.. using this while waiting my leather case from apple hk.. sold out everywhere in sg ranting.gif

Any one here upgrade from 7plus to XS or XS max, im in dilemma, first plan to upgrade to XS but Scared cannot get used to smaller screen, so any opinion guys?
If upgrade to XS than i can use my favourite case , element case. Xs max too bulky if use EC.
*
im coming from 7+ to xs.. been using it almost a month.. the only downsize is battery life... but i glad that finally i can 1 hand operate the phone...

if you are not a one-hand guy... could just go for xs max..
since 7+ and xs max having similar physical size, you could just try swiping from ur 7+ from top edge you will get similar feeling with xs max...

Is the battery really noticeable compare to 7plus? Now even my 7plus i already cannot tahan charge 2 times per day
*
you cant compare with ur 7+ battery right now.. the battery already degrade..

i just change my 7plus back in june(83% during change).. so for a 100% battery health 7plus compare to brand new xs.. i would say 10-15% different..

any risk from buying a turbo sim Iphone?
*
QUOTE(PoisonSoul @ Oct 18 2018, 04:24 PM)
When there is an iOS update, got to wait from like someone to give green light and a new code before you can update. Otherwise, sim lock.

That is what I know. Never bought or own 1 before.
*
other this poisonSoul mentioned, when you go travel wish to change sim.. need turbosim setup again... i suggest avoid turbosim set... will be hard to get it resell too

lol...only the Rm89 cable able to use PD-fast charger... after ios 11.3.1.. no more after market cable

No one talks about Qi charging? Will constantly Qi charging lower the life span of your battery?
*
i guess because wifi charging is slow compare to cable and you cant use your phone while charging?

Dear all experts,
How is the drop protection of Apple original case compared to others like Spigen and Specks?
*
been using apple leather case for quite long... drop protection so far serve me quite well.. drop a couple times.. no problem at all..

although the bottom part is not covered.. but 2 year old 7plus the only scratch in to bottom is cause by myself nearby charging port.. plug in plug out everyday

Non Apple PD charges slower than the Apple PD? But both capable of doing 18W, should be same speed?
*
i think only ori cable vs after market you would see huge different.. the PD chargers only very minor different...

Attached Image
This chart explain all... 18W is ori apple PD charger.. taken from macrumors

QUOTE(xproc @ Oct 23 2018, 12:31 PM)
now got many aftermarket powerbank pd also... can use or not.
*
im using baseus PD powerbank... working well with ori cable.. charging speed wise.. more or less the same as ori charger.. one thing nice about this powerbank is PD fast charge in & out...

Good stuff ๐Ÿคญ
Make sure buy McDodo cable
*
He getting PD fast charger, and only APPLE ORIGINAL TYPE-C cable able to do that.. i mentioned this alot alot time...
McDodo cable no doubt is good, but it wont able to support apple fast charge, no where near PD standard. The charging speed with McDodo cable can be achieve with normal ipad charger.

QUOTE(okboy @ Oct 23 2018, 06:37 PM)
Yes i order this cable also. Seem like here many ppl recommended
This is good cable, but if you really want to utilize apple fast charge, get only APPLE ORIGINAL Type-C to lightning cable (RM89 from apple store)

QUOTE(okboy @ Oct 23 2018, 06:51 PM)
i think who told me before at here the iphone not support usb fast charging?
*
QUOTE(Benefon @ Oct 23 2018, 06:53 PM)
Lol please find out that fellow
USB C at bottom, the USB A for overnight charge only.
*
Im the one that mentioned iphone not support usb fast charge. In fact that true, apple only have 1 type of fast charge which is USB-C PD power delivery.

Yes you can charge with normal usb but is not up to fast charge standard, is just normal 2.4A charging. Of cause is faster than normal 1A charging but still it not categorize as fast charge.

Aiyoh , have you test and compare side by side or not?
I got both, I knew that original Apple USB C was slightly faster maybe just around 30mins shorter.
But isnโ€™t everyone can or willing to pay that much?
To me Apple USB C is well done, but I will do fine with any USB C from McDodo, cause the iOS 12.01 after updated its do great job for after market USB C cable. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
*
Yes I do.. i just dont wan fault information to spread around.. because normal 5V 2.4A already charge with 12Watt, and apple PD charge only with 18W. if wan to go budget might as well get a ipad charger and charge with normal cable. Its even budget than getting a expensive PD charger and use after market cable. It give you the same speed..

And NO! Ios 12.0.1 does not allow any third party usb c cable!

Bro, i know you are kind to share some good stuff, but dont share on your own perspective. Alot here come to learn and share new things.. i dont wish ppl to get wrong information.. No hard feeling...

Please proof your all info is come to your own , not by others Writers or blogs.

I do fine with after market cable to work with Apple 30w PD.
Already mentioned that speed not exactly same as Apple.
But itโ€™s works fine for iPhone Xโ€™s Max.
Still consider fast charge to compare that normal 5w/1.5a , 2a or 2.5a or 3a
*
those all come from myself... how bout you do some study 1st before come and challenge?

if i happen to get a type-c power meter, i can measure and share here.. i only got usb power meter as of now...

I'm not sure if you can understand Chinese..

QUOTE(celciuz @ Oct 24 2018, 10:14 AM)
So is it limited by the chip in the Apple type C cable or just the cable quality?
*
is actually limited by both phone and cable. Apple type-c got a MFI authentication chip, the phone need to read the chip in order to charge with 18W

QUOTE(Benefon @ Oct 24 2018, 10:18 AM)
To be honest Apple cable quality is suck, can easily change yellowish and break off at close to connector head.
*
Yes apple cable sucks big time since long time.. but no choice for now...

So there is no MFI certified type C to lightning cable now? If in this case, then only Apple one can full speed.
*
Yes correct.

QUOTE(Benefon @ Oct 24 2018, 10:37 AM)
Haha, LOL ๐Ÿ˜‚

One more thing where did you quote this from?
Apple China support?

Ok ok you win 5 more streets, still back to topic.
I did my McDodo USB C PD cable was fine for Apple 30w PD.
Apple articles already meantion can be used with after markets cable with 29w, 30w, 61w with 87w PD for iPhone XS Max.

Please Apple havenโ€™t release the 18W fast charger for market.

Will wait for these and test it out. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
*
You dont even know a single shit you talk about.. you can use 30W, 45W 61W.. still iphone PD fast charge capped at 18W.

Dont let yourself look like a fool to defend your Mcdodo cable.. If you have no knowledge about electrical then do more study.

QUOTE(JayChouYEE @ Oct 24 2018, 10:50 AM)
bro...you are correct...currently only can use original apple cable due to the chip not yet release by apple to third party company to produce mfi cable...actually I know it through the 3c experts that always on Taiwan tv programme...
*
finally someone with knowledge is here.. thanks for backing up!.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 24 2018, 10:52 AM)
I am using a 3rd party China made cable - it works very well charging both my ipxs Max and iPad mini
Your comment is incorrect : And NO! Ios 12.0.1 does not allow any third party usb c cable
*
Sorry. i correct my statement. Ios 12.0.1 does support third party usb c cable but NOT PD FAST CHARGE.

QUOTE(Benefon @ Oct 24 2018, 10:57 AM)
After markets cable for only McDodo with USB C , I think the rest do not offers yet.
*
Wow.. where did you get this information? apple dont even allow big company like aukey anker to produce MFI certified type-c lightning cable and this china mcdodo company got it?
once again proven you speak and judge with your own perspective. No point i debate here with you..

i just want to stress again, ONLY ONLY APPLE Type-c lightning cable able to PD fast charge now.

QUOTE(belfong @ Oct 24 2018, 11:03 AM)
I have extra iPad 10W charger. I should be able to use this to charge XS Max, right? Better than the one Apple supplied in the box which is 5W.
*
Should be fine. Although is not the 12W ipad pro charger, but it will do fine.

AliExpress got lot of news..

Donโ€™t talk kok sing song lah, please try your best and see the actual results then video capture or photo capture via count down timer.

I did many in my previous post, please check on V1 or V2 threads.

Please do not look down on McDodo cables itโ€™s served me best for my all the phones.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
*
i dont know why are you trying to defend.. You the one talk kok here without fact with your own perspective. I ask you where do you get information on Mcdodo have apple MFI certified. You ignored.

I showed conversation with Mcdodo seller, even the seller himself say it do not support fast charger only normal charging speed since ios12.. any you insist it does... bangwall.gif

Yourself mentioned slower than ori cable by 30Mins. This statement already mean that it does not support apple PD fast charge statement. If it does, it should charge same speed with ori cable. If you dont trust me, get yourself an ios11.3 and below device charge and see you will see similar and near to ori cable speed.

Im going to stop here. I had explained enough.

Was at Switch earlier this morning and saw their instalment plans.
for 36 months with Citi, you get iphone xs, or xs mac whichever, 1 yr protection against theft, water damage, etc and airpods. Very good deal, considering the airpods are around rm600+, you are paying very much less for the iphone. Good one Switch.
*
lol bro.. i think you misunderstand...
if you want to have 36 months installment plan.. you need to buy any iphone AND smart protect plan Plus any iphone casing AND airpod...

not buy iphone free all those...
