about fuel consumption,
just last week I drove my wife car from KL to KB with half of my full tank..that is rm30+ for 400km++.not bad huh!?

Oh boy! oh boy! Yesterday i just saw YELLOW (DIGI) Viva @ Jln Ampang, nite time. Wan to take pic..but i was driving & somemore there is another car in between us blocking the view. Anyone else spot it?!! I think the winners get their car liao. 50!

Personally think that the sapphire blue colour on Viva gives a "strong" feeling.

hey guys one of my wheel cap just came off tonight!

i'm really dissapointed to find out that it's made of very cheap plastic. Upon closer inspection, it didn't just came off, all connected parts actually BROKE and i couldn't even find my wheel cap.

My car's only 2 months..it's kinda young for her to loose her cap so fast. Anyone else having these kinda prob? Mine's a standard 1000cc viva.

Does anyone know if this is under a warranty or i've got to buy one myself and how much does it cost?

i like yellow coz it is striking.. quite cool look for small car mar.. haha.. that my own opinion lar...
if Viva red is striking red like myVi, i'm sure buy one but not wor... quite dull...

Added on September 16, 2007, 12:09 ammine one still haven't come out but while i was wiping/cleaning the wheel.. the cap almost come out .. i push it back.. sight! wonder need to glue it or not.. got warranty or not i dunno, maybe you can call your agent to check check...

but despite all this, i still lov my Viva... nice to drive around especially making U-turn.. ppl make 3 point turn.. i one turn enough liao... hehe

yeah well mine's a Viva perl jed 1000cc EZ.

heh she's giving me quite a few probs already.

Before my 1st service, the car's gear box is very stiff and hard to shift gear. The car also gave the feel of no power and the steering wheel vibrated heavily when I drove over 100km/hr. After 1st service, the SC helped me to adjust the clutch and changed the gear oil, the gear shift is smooth now and less stress on my leg when pedaling the clutch. The car is also more powerful and I drove over 110km/hr without noticing it. No problem with the car at the moment, after 2000km, just that my bumper was hit and scratched by some lousy driver while parking beside my car.

Below is my fuel consumption, 1.0, manual. The figure in yellow is estimated based on next distance run. While others are based on fuel consumed during last distance run. The odo meter reading is taken at the time of refueling. I refuel when the fuel indicator goes blinking.



I drive from setapak to bandar utama to work most of the time, through jln mahameru, a bit jam. Back using the same route. I rev up to over 3k rpm before shifting to next gear (duno if its the right way). But now starting to change a bit, I shift gear before 3k to see if that saves more fuel but minus the power. Will update again.
