hi guys, I want to pass down my current TP-Link Archer C1200 router to my parent.

I am using the router now with TIME 500mbps package and I want to downgrade and sign two years contract with TIME to get new router TP-Link EC230.

Want to ask, since my parent is using streamyx 4mbps (due to the area don't support Unifi yet), is my current TP-Link Archer C1200 router (firmware 1.0.0 build 20180502 rel. 45702 (EU)) compatible with streamyx?

Many many thanks.

Hello, did you check in selfcare whether are you eligible for the free router when you downgrade.

TIME Archer C1200 doesn't support Streamyx as Streamyx use RJ11 instead of RJ45.

Thanks.

No worries, usually it won't affect the performance unless there are 'joints' which exposed to water.

Thanks for the interest on TIME Fibre.
Rain doesn't affect most of the time.
Just if some serious case will get disconnection or slowness.

Thanks.

If you want Asus then you need to top up.
TP-LINK also OK. Suitable for people with tight budget.

Thanks.

Time agents, can help to check when will Mutiara View apartments in Penang be available for subscription? I have seen contractors doing final testing last couple of weeks.

Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to suspend TIME internet subscription for a few months? I was not at home for several months during MCO and I switched off my modem. I think it is unfair to chair the full amount when there is no usage. The house I am staying doesn't have TIME coverage, therefore I am unable to move the subscription. Is there anything else I can do or I must pay the monthly bill as usual because it is still under contract period?

Hi, I’m new, from maxis fiber to Time fiber, installer will come tomorrow, I’m using RT-AC86U, want to know, do I need any annoying setup for Time Fiber with RT-ac86u?

I can’t google any useful information relevant to time fiber and RT-ac86u.

Mine is China set, no problem with Maxis Home Fiber

Hello, it is easy to setup TIME Fibre PPPoE on RT-AC86U.
TIME doesn't need to setup VLAN Tagging like Maxis or Unifi need to setup the VLAN Tagging.
Just key in the PPPoE details and you are good to go.
No additional settings need to be set.

Thanks.
