I've been using Unifi for many, many years and especially the last few years, service has been pretty good. Never really had any outages, latency stable etc. so no complaints at my current place.
However, I'm moving to a new place soon (not a new building, maybe about 5 years old) and that building has both TIME and Unifi services available so I was thinking of giving TIME a try. I was looking around the Internet & on FB and found complaints about the slow problem resolution and some service issues (e.g speeds well below the package, long outages) that TIME users have been experiencing lately

How do you all feel about the TIME services you're using today? Are those complaints isolated incidents or is this something that's happening across the board? I really do need stable and reliable internet because you know la.. MCO and all that.. so need to work from home and unstable internet will kill the VPN

i've been using TIME 500Mbps for 2 years. No complains. Speed is fast and consistent. I hope landed props will get TIME as well in the future.

I stay alone. Like to play game like Battlefield 1 but server from Hong Kong and Japan. Currently my house using UNIFI 30mbps but due to cheap cable only can go until 20 mbps. I tried 500 mbps TIME at my friend house. Quite smooth when playing at Japan server compare with my UNIFI. Is there any difference if I get 1Gbps TIME compare to 500 mbps TIME if play games at foreign server?

Talked to one Time installer recommended by condo community.

For better wifi coverage, he recommended using repeater for bedroom farthest away.

Will those router recommended do better job or the repeater of RM100 plus?

You mean repeater will even affect whole house speed and cut it down by half?

Or just affect those farthest away rooms which are supposed to be helped by the repeater?

A little bit out of topic but did any of you managed to grab any TIME rewards on the 15th each month.

Seems like every time, the reward is fully grabbed. Even when I checked early in the morning around 3 to 4 am.

Did you guys always ready at 11:59pm on the 14th?

I have been using TIME for over 3 months now. However, about once or twice a day, my wifi on my android phone will shows connected, no internet. Then I have to switch to 5ghz or vice versa to get back online. Anyone encounter such issue before? I don't see this issue with my laptop though.

TIME speed is bullshit.

The speed is so inconsistent and keep disconnecting. First few times you do speedtest, u will get the max speed. After that drop to half your subscribed speed.

And it will keep disconnecting every 1 hour or so. Need to restart modem and router. And dont bother calling their CS, all BS scripted response. You want them come your house to check? They will charge you.

Unifi is so so much better. So much more stable! Will change to Unifi after contract end

I am going to subscribe to Time soon. Ist recommended to change the router to get optimum speed?

hi it's me again. I'm playing with the Wifi this few days. Using 5ghz channel I will get 420mb speed. This if i sit in front of the router.

However, if i move to my room I will only get 120mb. Seen in youtube that mostly is advising mesh wifi to get full speed. Will this help me in term of speed?

Using the 2.4ghz max speed is only 122mb even in front of the router. Is this the max speed for 2.4?

My house is not so big, just 780 square feet. Current router is EC230. And the router location is middle of the house.

No, my family is living on 2 storey house and using unifi 300mb. My room on the 2nd floor only get max 30mb speed.
Thats why plan to use mesh.

For the suggested device, I will see great improvement over the default router? For Time at my house.

In terms of coverage would Tenda be better that the default EC230. Looking at the following model.

Hi...Currently I Trying to apply TIME for my new move in condo...Saw a banner at my condo lobby with TIME Interent available..But when I checked at TIME website and consulted live hat representative person from TIME...They say my condo is not covered...But the Agent from the banner insisted that my condo is covered...is it possible for TIME not updated their website coverage data or what? Anyone encounter on such issues? Thanks~
