Hi guys,

I'm currently on the 500Mbps plan on Time with fibre cable pulled in right to the router.

Wifi speeds just around 200-250Mbps usually. Tested on my Pixel phone as well as Surface tablet with fairly similar results. 

I know testing should be used on LAN but I'm basing on my own real-world needs and wondering how to bump up my wifi speeds closer to 500Mbps. Any advice? Should I upgrade the router?

Thanks for the suggestion. Got the TP-Link C80 and works like a charm now with much better coverage overall.

Is your Master Room able to get the speed? Coverage better than the stock router from TIME?

DL speed with stock TIME router was 40Mbps now it is ranging between 130-150Mbps. Guess my laptop wifi card too isn't that strong because in living room I don't see a significant change. It was about 250-300 and now ranges from 250-350 max.

Yeap whole house has better coverage. Previously even kitchen area doesn't have good coverage

Yea. It is 2 days old anyway but I find it to be really worth for the money. No coverage issues anymore and didn't notice any sudden disconnects so far.

I am an existing TIME user, my contract is already finished. I will move house to another place that also has TIME coverage, and I would like to continue using TIME.

Would it be better for me to opt for relocation service (and get charged for the fee) or cancel my current service and sign a new plan? My current plan is the Rm199 500mbps plan and even if I resign I will continue with this plan.

Hi, is Time good for online gaming? Anyone regularly play multiplayer games or playstation network can share your experience, how is the ping/latency?

Time finally came and install their fibre infrastructure for my apartment building last week. How do I know when can subscribe and who to contact? Penang, Bukit Mertajam area. Cant wait to ditch my VDSL Unifi for Time.

You can also look at powerline solution as well. It works good (just make sure your place running on single phase electric).

hi guys, I want to pass down my current TP-Link Archer C1200 router to my parent.

I am using the router now with TIME 500mbps package and I want to downgrade and sign two years contract with TIME to get new router TP-Link EC230.

Want to ask, since my parent is using streamyx 4mbps (due to the area don't support Unifi yet), is my current TP-Link Archer C1200 router (firmware 1.0.0 build 20180502 rel. 45702 (EU)) compatible with streamyx?
