QUOTE(Askzra @ Dec 27 2018, 10:17 AM) is the 4g connection really stable for gx30? am i correct in saying, if the modem not support 3G then it would not 'capture' 3G coverage and continue to connect 4g? The modem internet will get disconnected if here are no 4G signal. You could try buy the modem and the antenna together so it may help to get more stable 4G signal.i mean, when use in phone, my coverage sometime LTE/4G, sometime it go 3G. seriously consider to try this modem. i am heavy on tethering to my laptop and my ps4. QUOTE(MakNok @ Dec 28 2018, 08:32 AM) No it doesn't, only bypass hotspot quota so it will run unlimited wifi tethering |

Currently using MaxisOne 128 under with my dad as principal line, and all of us are using the rm48 share line under him, my mom don’t really use her phone outside so just keeping the line with RM10.
Looking at Umobile P99 plan now, and stated there Share20 available up to 3 lines. So it is possible to do P99+ Share20+ Share20 + Share20 right? Under Share20, it says the available data is following the principal line, so if P99 is unlimited data, all the other share lines also “unlimited” data? How’s the 4G coverage in PJ, Kajang and Seremban? Basically these are the areas that we will be most of the time. Really appreciate it if anyone can chime in on this. |

Everybody already knew that. Also, LTE Advanced as a protocol has already met 4G requirements and many phones in the market already support LTE Advanced. That's why LTE is called Long Term Evolution. First gen LTE might not even reach the 4G requirement, but further improvements can be made to meet the requirements.https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/4g-vs-lte/ QUOTE In response, the regulating body decided that LTE, the name given to the technology used in pursuit of those standards, could be labeled as 4G if it provided a substantial improvement over the 3G technology. Quoted from the website you yourself have provided. It's just that our country havent utilised LTE tech to its full potential to reach real 4G speeds as our country doesnt have enough spectrum to be allocated for cellular network.
