i plan to switch to gx50 after i move to kl sentral, btw, ur phone showing 4g or lte? i found something weird on u mobile, on same location, my iphone 8p show as lte but my note 4 show as 4g.

Ya, in high rise. Not entirely sure on phone showing 4G/LTE.. But browsing works fine sometimes even more stable than my Digi line

it doesn't matter if the display is 4g or lte. it all depends on the settings on your phone (e.g. carrier profile) that are usually not user customizable.

so the hack modem you bought, ok or not?
Look gooding if can use on UMobile gx30 / YES 4G datafy for their unlimited hotspot and unlimited data.

4g =/= lte, in fact, lte < 4g

Worn-out just the color of the modem's casing. They give 3months warranty summore. Anyway I had tried to find alternative but yet found any, plus they are offering the best price in the market.

is the 4g connection really stable for gx30? am i correct in saying, if the modem not support 3G then it would not 'capture' 3G coverage and continue to connect 4g?

i mean, when use in phone, my coverage sometime LTE/4G, sometime it go 3G.

seriously consider to try this modem. i am heavy on tethering to my laptop and my ps4.

iinm gx plan does not cap tethering speed. i did a test on my ps4 using gx50 hotspot from my phone, my ps4 shows download speed at 10.4 MBps.

You damn sure it is 10.4MBps and not 10.4 Mbps?
