It's been almost one month I inactive in uM and I didnt sub any prepaid plan to eligible for the Giler contest also

just wanna ask, to port in to umobile prepaid, does the umobile prepaid sim need to be active when i submit port in request and also will the credit in the umobile prepaid sim be brought forward to the new number after port in?

port in from another telco. to port in to umobile, you first need to buy a umobile number.

Same here and its still not fixed....will consider porting to other telco.

Hi. My father U Mobile suddenly no service.

I swapped the SIM card to another phone but also no service.
No line barring at all. We paid every month before the due date.

Is it the SIM Card faulty?

Yes, Celcom has just offered a new "unlimited" data Internet monthly pass to its existing prepaid subscribers. More importantly, what is its FUP limit, 50GB or 100GB per month.? This has been interesting developments in the affordable "unlimited" data segment, ie GX30 and Konfem30 vs the new kids on the block HUP35 and XPax35. Hopefully, UMobile GX30 will respond to the threat.

Update as of 12:30pm today:
Celcom has just updated its website for its new XUP35 Internet monthly pass. No news on the FUP limit but the new plan is advertised as "Truly Unlimited Prepaid" = no FUP limit.?

I luv this competition, it's healthy and benefits users.
We can choose the best for ourselves and without contracts is big advantage.

My alternative choices of replacing Unifi Home soon.
1. GX30, at 6Mbps and RM5 rebate, plus auto renewals.
2. KU30, 3Mbps but auto linked cards renewals.
3. CUP35, 3Mbps without FUP.
4. HUP35, 3Mbps without Hotspot, FUP limits 50GB.
Nothing wrong or right, just to test max performance or throughput of telco, it's better using same server or cities for optimal results.

Example if testing GX plan the choose Umobile instead Singapore or Hong Kong as some routes will redirect traffic thru HK/Japan before going back Singapore which caused higher pings and affected speeds.

Also, far servers will definitely slowdown speeds especially above 10000km test server.

Exactly. And it even ask user to reply GM30 (instead of the obvious, GX30) to the SMS for activation of the plan.
